Les Civilisations perdues : Les Incas
Les Incas n'ont laissé aucun écrit. Les seuls témoignages émanent des premiers conquistadores espagnols qui avaient recueilli des récits auprès des indigènes. Héritiers, parmi d'autres, des brillantes civilisations qui les avaient précédées, les Incas n'étaient à l'origine qu'une petite tribu établie dans la région quechua, sur les rives du lac Titicaca, à cheval entre le Pérou et la Bolivie. Ils participent à une confédération avec d'autres groupes en occupant dans un premier temps un rang subordonné et non dominateur. La confédération repose en effet sur deux clans : le Hanan, qui détient les pouvoirs politiques, et le Hurin, le pouvoir militaire, dont font partie les Incas.
Cette répartition des pouvoirs explique en partie la montée en puissance, par les armes, du groupe Inca. Ce n'est véritablement qu'au milieu du 14ème siècle que les Incas créent un État à leur nom. Cuzco fut la capitale des Incas et a été longtemps un carrefour sur l'axe économique transandin mais s'est endormie quand l'activité commerciale s'est tournée vers Lima. Le Machu Pichu est l'ancienne cité inca du 15ème siècle, perchée sur un promontoire rocheux sur le versant oriental des Andes centrales. Classé depuis 1983 sur la liste du Patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, il a été également désigné comme l'une des sept nouvelles merveilles du monde. En nous intéressant à la vie quotidienne des Incas, à leurs rites et cultes religieux, nous explorerons tout ce qui fait le mystère et la légende de cette civilisation perdue. Pourquoi des sacrifices humains, pourquoi l'or est-il le métal symbole des Incas? Pourquoi vénéraient-ils le Soleil ? C'est ce que nous allons tenter de résoudre dans ce documentaire à l'aide de spécialistes tels que Jean-François Bouchard, Patrice Lecoq et Carmen Bernand, chercheurs spécialistes de l'Amérique Latine.

Este año se celebra 486 años de fundación de Ciudad de Lima,conocida inicialmente como Ciudad de los Reyes, fue fundada el 18 enero de 1535 por Francisco Pizarro.Pizarro estudió la idea de nombrar la Ciudad de Junín como capital peruana,pero finalmente se decantó por Lima.
el primer alcalde de Lima se llama Nicolás de Rivera,era andaluz y formó parte de los viajes de Francisco Pizarro.
Actualmente lima es una ciudad moderna.

The Incas did not leave any written word.
The only testimony comes from the first conquistadores who collected the natives’ tales. Successors, among others, to brilliant civilisations preceding them, the Incas were originally a small tribe from the Quechua region on the bank of Lake Titicaca, between Peru and Bolivia.
They are part of a confederation of several groups, occupying at first a subordinate rank.
The confederation relied on two clans, the Hanan detaining political power, and the Hurin, the military power of which the Incas were part of. This shared power explains the Inca group’s rise to power by force.
It is only in during the mid-14th century that the Incas create a state bearing their name. Cuzco was the Inca capital for a long time, being the crossroads of the trans-Andean economical axis. It died down when economical activity turned towards Lima.
Machu Pichu is the ancient Inca city, dating back to the 15th century, perched on a rocky headland on the eastern central Andes.
Listed since 1983 on the UNESCO’s world heritage sites, it is also one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
Looking at the Incas’ daily lives, their rites and religious cults, we will explore the mystery and legends of this lost civilisation.
Why human sacrifices, why gold is the Inca’s symbolic metal, why worship the Sun? In this documentary we will attempt to solve these questions, with the help of experts on Latin America: Jean-Francois Bouchard, Patrice Lecoq and Carmen Bernand.

Cathedral of Lima - A Five Minute Tour
Located in the Plaza Mayor of downtown Lima, Peru, the Cathedral of Lima is a Roman Catholic basilica devoted to the Apostle St. John. Serving as a museum of religious art and the resting place of Spanish conquistador, Francisco Pizarro, the cathedral was constructed during the 16th century. Considered Lima's most iconic building, the basilica has undergone numerous reconstructions due to earthquakes and is an eye catching sight for tourists.
