Thantlang | My Hometown Tour | Chin State

#thantlang #hometown #chinstate
This video is a tour of my hometown called Thantlang town in Chin State. We obviously could have done a better view and B-roll but due to the impact of C-19, we weren't able to film as we wish. We could only film through the main road by riding motorcycle. May be we would make a better one when the C-19 condition is getting better.

THE MYANMAR REFUGEE TRIBES OF THAILAND ???????? ????????

In this video we speak with tribes who came from Myanmar and China to find a new life in Thailand.
Thailand luckily opened up for these people in times of need.
Myanmar has been locked into a brutal war for the last 2 years now, causing people to flee into neighbouring countries like Thailand.

Tour This Tranquil Buddhist Island Temple of Giant Statues

Thailand is home to over 40,000 Buddhist temples, but none of them is quite like Wat Plai Laem. Completed in 2004, the site is a collection of temples and statues located on Koh Samui, Thailand's second largest island. Wat Plai Laem's temples are active, set in a tranquil location, where quiet reflection is encouraged and appropriate attire is a must. One of the temple's most eye-catching figures is a nearly 100-foot tall statue of Buddha, painted in bright red, white and gold. But the main statue is the Buddhist goddess of compassion and mercy, Guanyin. There, she is represented with 18 arms, which shows her ability to help many people in need at once.

Chin State - Myanmar - Tedim to Rihkhawdar & Rih Dil - တီတိန်မြို့ - ချင်းပြည်နယ်

Rih Dil: The name is derived from a Mizo folktale of Rih-i. Rih-i had a younger sister who was murdered by her father upon the order of their stepmother. Rih-i's sister was resurrected with the help of a spirit. With the same magical spell Rih-i turned herself into a water body that became the lake.
Rih Dil occupied an important status in the traditional religion of the Mizo people. According to the ancestors of the tribals, it was a corridor to their heaven called Pialral. All souls destined to Pialral must pass through the lake.
