Camino de Santiago Documentary | Day 7 walk Estella to Los Arcos with free wine and lost kids | Ep 9

Join us on our travels on the Camino de Santiago! About this episode:

After an amazing night (in a double bed ???? with the wife and the kids in a separate room) at the hostel in Estella ( up we get and start heading out towards our next stop, Los Arcos.

After purchasing even more Compeed before we leave Estella, the 22.5km walk through another scenic route is accompanied with random conversations with kids about berry jus ????‍♂️! We then start hitting the winery's and even better we hit 'free wine'! We just had to give it a go (

The walk being in full swing, we leave the kids behind us to catch up with us and we then get a phone call about 15 minutes later...they wandered off the trail ????! Don't panic...they found us!

Just before getting to Los Arcos, Louise needed a little music to finish off the walk (sorry Abba!) and to get to the Albergue to rest some poorly feet (

Catch us on Episode 10 when you see us tackle the next stage of our walk to Logrono and a well deserved rest day!

Blog:

Esta bella ciudad es conocida como el centro económico de la ribera de Navarra. Day 8 Camino De Santiago. Full Journey. Puente la Reine to Estella. The Romans do it right

Top rated documented journey showing El Camino De Santiago-Frances.
In this video I walk 22K from Puente la Reine to Estella. Starting in the dark to best the heat, walking up the hill to an ancient Roman city and walking on remnants of the oldest Roman road in Spain.

I watched the sunrise and saw it light up the vast fertile land. Oh so gorgeous. The smell of earth from the past harvest was beautiful. It was a good day. My body feels stronger, my foot is feeling better. I’m feeling changes happening. Stronger, getting a bit of a rhythm.

I stayed at a donativo, an Albergue close to the monastery. I was excited to reach the city and explore, but soon after arriving my body crashed and I needed to rest it. The two sweet women who volunteered there were so kind to me and showed so much compassion and kindness. This is a theme I’m seeing on the Camino. Wonderful people with kind hearts. It’s an amazing thing. Truly. Thanks for the love. Jeanee - Alaskan Pilgrim

Camino de Santiago Frances 2018 Festivities in Estella Spain

Whilst walking the Camino de Santiago in 2018 we came across these festivities in Estella, overcome by excitement I did the usual and filmed with my phone in the vertical orientation.

Santiago 800km 뚜벅뚜벅(10). Estella에서 irache Bodegas를 지나 Los Arcos 26km.

난이도 높은 Los Arcos 순례길. 날씨도 추워져서 고통의 길. irache 수도원 양조장에서 무료로 제공하는 포도주 한모금 시음하고 힘을 얻는다. 동료 순례자가 탈진하여 보살피다.

Camino de Santiago Documentary | Walking Day 6 Puenta to Estella through beautiful scenery | Ep 8

Join us on our travels on the Camino de Santiago! About this episode:

We leave our auberge ( on Day 6 and get an early start on route for a c22km walk to Estella. First stop as always is a Cafe to make sure that we get that coffee (from a vending machine! ????), and we love that fact that we get to see some familiar faces and chat about our nights sleep/food etc. We walk through one of the prettiest villages (Cirauqui) that we have seen to date on the Camino Frances.

Stunning views through the countryside, smells of wild Honeysuckle led us to Estalla and an amazing Auberge ( where Louise and I had a double bed! Shoes are removed and through multiple moans and groans and we share what happens after a few days of walking ????‍♀️????‍♂️????‍♀️????‍♂️.

Catch us on Episode 9 when you see us tackle the next stage of our walk to Los Arcos and a night in a municipal auberge!

Camino de Santiago 2018 - Day 6 - Estella to Los Arcos

Day 6 on the Camino de Santiago, we walked from Estella to Los Arcos. In Los Arcos we stayed the night at Albergue Casa de la Abuela. Very homey place ran by a very nice family. You have the option to have a communal dinner there (it was vegetarian) which was really good, especially after a long day of rain. A nice salad, bread, lentils, and ice-cream for dessert.
