Here I need to apologize for not being able to reach the island, the path is getting extremely slippery when getting close to the island and the water was constantly pushed onto the path. I really wanted to reach it, but sadly I had to give up.
Lekeitio (Spanish: Lequeitio) is a town and municipality located in the province of Biscay, in the Spanish Autonomous Community of Basque Country, 53 km (33 mi) northeast from Bilbao. The municipality has 7,293 inhabitants (2005) and is one of the most important fishing ports of the Basque coast. Tourism has an important role during the summer seasons, when the town is a resort with one beach called Isunza and the nearby Carraspio beach in the town of Mendexa.

Today we are taking a ride on the one of a kind Euskotrain narrow gauge railway in northern spain's basque country. The line is a strange mix of Metro / Regional rail service operating mostly in tunnels in Bilbao and San Sebastian as a metro style service while operating more as a regional rail intercity style train between the cities. Come along for a ride in great scenery while i point out the major issues with the service.

Tiny Tour | EA Spain | A quiet little fishing town from 16th century 2019 Autumn
EA (same in Basque) is a municipality and town on the northeast coast of the province of Biscay , Basque Country ( Spain ), 50 km from Bilbao , with 836 inhabitants. The town has a beach and a port that are overflowing in summer, although in winter they’re nearly empty. The river reaches the sea, leaving it almost without water when there is low tide.

When you come to visit the Basque Country, you have to make a mandatory stop in Mundaka, a very small but a world famous village for the surfing community. Here you can find the greatest left wave in Europe and it has been on numerous occasions the host of the world championship. So if you come to the Basque Country, Mundaka is a must!
Mundaka is a town that does not reach the 2,000 inhabitants but has all the charm of Basque fishing villages. With its church, its pelota court, the port. That is a village that goes unnoticed on the map, if it were not for these waves. Mundaka is world famous for surfing. It’s proud of having the greatest left wave in Europe, which each year attracts thousands of surfers from all continents. World championships have been hosted here, and these waters have been a witness of legendary duels by the greatest surfers in history.
As I have come to Mundaka, I decided to emulate these gods of water and throw myself to surf. Well, if we consider that today there are no waves and I can’t surf, it's fine for me take a ride on paddle surfing by the Urdaibai estuary. In addition to huge waves, Mundaka also has Urdaibai, an estuary formed by the river Oca meeting with the Bay of Biscay, with such ecological richness that in 1984 is was declared by the UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve. And, as you are seeing today, you can enjoy this natural wonder practicing paddle surfing.

In diesem Video nehme ich euch mit auf einen Ausflug nach La Garita an den wunderschönen Strand südlich von Arrieta weiter werden wir das „Blaue Haus“ auch Blue Hous genannt oder Casa La Juanita besuchen und die kleine Bucht daneben in dem schönen Fischerdorf Arrieta auf Lanzarote. Von dort aus geht es weiter nach Punta Mujeres zu den schönsten Naturschwimmbecken und das wunderschöne malerische blühende Haus Casa Carmelina. Kleine Fischerorte, in denen die Zeit stehen geblieben ist und man Einheimische trifft. Abseits der touristischen Ziel und des Trubels gibt es auch noch andere wunderschöne idyllische Orte auf Lanzarote. Also kommt mit auf die Reise und lasst euch überraschen.
