تطلُّ مدينة الغزوات على البحر الأبيض المتوسّط، وهذا الموقع مكّنها من أن تتحوّل لمركز تموينٍ وإخلاء للمرضى المتجهين إلى فرنسا بدْءاً من عام ألفٍ وثمانمئةٍ وأربعةٍ وأربعين، حيث اقتضت الضرورة في تلك الفترة إتاحة الظروف المناسبة لهؤلاء المعمّرين للاستقرار في المدينة، وبُنيَ أوّلُ منزلٍ من الحجر فيها عامَ ألفٍ وثمانمئةٍ وستّةٍ وأربعين. في عام ألفٍ وثمانمئةِ وسبعةٍ وأربعين أطلق على المدينة اسم نيمروس؛ نسبةً للحاكم أومال الابن الثاني للويس فيليب. بدأ النموُّ السكّاني في المدينة بعد هذا التاريخ بالتزايد، وازدادت حركة العمران من مساكن وهياكل إداريّة التي أصبحت تشرف على مسيرة النشاط الاقتصاديّ المرتبط بحركة الميناء في المدينة. في الفترةِ الواقعة ما بين عاميْ ألفٍ وثمانمئةٍ وستّةٍ وأربعين، وعام ألفٍ وثمانمئةٍ وأربعةٍ وسبعين استقرّ في المدينة نحوَ خمسمئةٍ مواطنٍ فرنسيّ، وفي عام ألفٍ وثمانمئةٍ وستّةٍ وخمسين، بُنيَ نحوَ ثلاثةٍ وخمسين من المباني السكنيّة والهياكل الإداريّة كمقرٍ للبلديّة والمستشفى والمحكمة، ومركزٍ للبريد.

Dévasté par son économie, le Nicaragua dispose d'infrastructures hasardeuses. Pendant la saison des pluies, les pistes se transforment en bourbier et compliquent le passage des véhicules. Le transport de dynamite, utile à l'extraction de l'or brut, y est périlleux car les secousses de la route risquent à tout moment de faire exploser les précieux détonateurs. A ce danger s'ajoute celui des pilleurs armés. Au centre du pays, le voyage est tout aussi compliqué pour les pasteurs évangélistes qui se déplacent à moto à la rencontre des communautés très isolées. Enfin, sur la mer des caraïbes, les pêcheurs Miskitos se surpassent pour survivre.

En plein hiver, il parcourt la Norvège, et découvre un train chasse-neige, capable de rouler dans des conditions climatiques extrêmes. Les journées sont courtes et le ciel affiche des couleurs parfois inhabituelles. Après une escale mêlant nature et musique en altitude, à Finse, le périple se poursuit entre Bergen et Oslo, à bord d'un wagon spécialement aménagé pour les jeunes voyageurs. Au nord du pays, au coeur des îles Lofoten, Philippe partage un peu de l'âme des Norvégiens.

Djémila is located 110 kilometers southwest of Constantine and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982. It was known as Cuicul in ancient times and was established as an ancient Roman colony during the reign of Nerva (96-98 A.D.).

Our opinion:
Djemila is a captivating and enchanting site, with stunningly preserved ruins and intricate architecture that transport visitors back in time. The location amidst the rolling hills of Algeria adds to its charm and creates a picturesque backdrop that adds to its enchanting aura. Djemila is a work of art, a masterpiece that leaves visitors breathless.
Timgad, on the other hand, is a larger site that corresponds more to the idea and dimensions of a city than Djemila. Its location in the middle of the desert adds to its unique character and creates a sense of isolation that is awe-inspiring. The ruins of Timgad are vast and offer a glimpse into the lives of the people who once inhabited this ancient city.
In terms of preservation, Djemila has been more meticulously maintained, and its structures are better preserved than those of Timgad. However, Timgad offers a more extensive range of structures, including an amphitheater, a library, and public baths.
In conclusion, both Djemila and Timgad offer visitors a glimpse into the world of ancient Rome, showcasing the remarkable achievements of this civilization. Djemila's charm and character create an enchanting atmosphere that is difficult to replicate, while Timgad's vast ruins and desert location offer a unique and awe-inspiring experience. Both sites are worthy of a visit and are sure to leave visitors with a sense of wonder and awe.
