It's called the Kuwaiti Dinar, and as of right now, $ 1 USD = .31 KWD. In other words, if you go to the ATM and take out $100 -- you will receive 31 Dinars. This is largely due to the surplus of oil exports in Kuwait (they sit on 9% of the world's total reserves) -- and all countries need to purchase KWD to get their hands on this precious oil.
