Przechodząc do czwartego miejsca, trafiamy do Demre, Myry i Mykowy. Tutaj czeka nas podróż w czasie do okresu antycznego.
Kapadocja to prawdziwy skarb, który zachwyci was swoją niezwykłością.

To była moja podróż po top 5 wycieczkach z rejonu Riwiery Tureckiej. Mam nadzieję, że ten film zainspiruje was do odkrywania tych niezwykłych miejsc. Jeśli podobał wam się ten materiał, nie zapomnijcie zostawić łapki w górę i subskrybować mój kanał, aby być na bieżąco z kolejnymi przygodami.

Welcome to my channel! Today I am taking you on a journey through the most beautiful places of the Turkish Riviera, where we will discover the top 5 excursions that should not escape your attention. Let's start!
In fifth place we have Anamur, a picturesque town located in the east of the Turkish Riviera. It is an ideal place for history buffs who want to explore the mysteries of ancient culture. Anamur is famous for its imposing castle built on a rock, from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean Sea.
Moving on to the fourth place, we get to Demre, Myra and Mykowa. Here, a journey back in time to the ancient period awaits us. In Demre we will find the ruins of the ancient city of Myra and the famous Basilica of Saint Nicholas. This is the place where, according to legend, Saint Nicholas was buried, the inspiration for the character of Saint Nicholas, who gives gifts to children on Christmas Eve. Plus a boat trip to the sunken city and a swim in the blue water.
In third place we have Sapadere, a paradise for nature lovers. This charming narrow valley surrounded by mountains will offer you spectacular views of waterfalls, rock formations and cascading pools. Walking along the wooden walkways and admiring the green landscapes, you will feel like in a fairy tale.
Another unusual place on our list is the second place - Pamukkale, which literally means cotton castle. This natural wonder consists of white mineral terraces filled with hot springs. You can plunge into the warm pools and enjoy the amazing landscape. Pamukkale is a real jewel of Turkey that will leave unforgettable impressions in your memory.
And finally, in the first place we have Cappadocia - a real miracle of nature. This magical land is breathtaking with its unique rock formations, known as fairy chimney. Here you can admire lively cities in the rock, beautiful valleys, picturesque views of balloons in the sky and surprising underground cities. Cappadocia is a real treasure that will delight you with its uniqueness.

Tips on How to Save Money and how to make money for your next dream travels
The first aspect is for you to figure out how much money you need to save which depends on where you planning to travel and how much fun you want to have in your travel. Whatever your plans may be: it’s best to have a plan in place.
Create a saving plan which will help you to accumulate money for travel
-Assessment of the cost of your trips
-Set financial goals
-Create a saving plan
-Implement your travel money goals
-Monitor and reassess of your travel money goals
Adhere to your saving plans for your next dream travels
-Saving money is slow but you can do it if you set a goal by
reducing your expenditures, selling some stuff, and earning some extra income.
Start a dedicated travel fund
-You can potentially create your travel savings bank account and save on a monthly or weekly basis even if it's just $10. Make it fun, habit, natural, painless, and Revel its growth over time.
Additional Tips
-Reduce your utility bills
The average utility bill in the US ranges from $90 to $140 a month. If you reduce 15% off your money by doing fewer loads of laundry and conserving energy, you could add around $225 to your savings, annually.
-Invest in Real Estate or other asset classes so that you can potentially have a passive income that allows you to travel.
-build an online business like Amazon FBA, dropshipping, blogging, or your own eCommerce store that will generate you enough money for your travels.
-Reduce the cost of your gym membership
-Save on clothing expenses
Finally, be financially efficient. Watching your friends go out overnight to buy expensive electronics, pricey cocktails, and new boots will make it a little hard to save. Plan your trips: by budgeting both time and money, you will have a wonderful experience in your travels.

Ancient City of Myra & St. Nicholas Museum (Santa Claus!) | Travel to Demre, Turkey | Oh So Pom

The Ancient Lycian city of Myra and the St. Nicholas Museum (Santa Claus) can both be found in Demre, Turkey. Turkey’s southwest Mediterranean coast is home to many ancient treasures, and Myra and the St. Nick church are just two of the places you can visit while on vacation in Turkey. First we’ll explore the museum dedicated to St. Nicholas; the inspiration for Santa Claus. Then we’ll make the short drive over to the Ancient city of Myra and see the Lycian cliffside tombs and the Roman theater. I hope you enjoy seeing a little bit of what Turkey has to offer. To see more of Turkey from my perspective as an American living in Turkey, please consider subscribing to my Youtube channel. Thanks!

Day trip to Antalya.

Antalya is one of the biggest cities in Turkey and is probably the country’s most significant vacationist hotspot after Istanbul.

Turkey is home to numerous UNESCO heritage sites and many historical remnants. This is very much the case in Antalya too as the city was once a major settlement in the Byzantine Empire and later the Ottoman Empire. Tourists can enjoy several preserved artifacts and structures dating back to as early as the 3rd Century

The area around the city is known as the Turkish Riviera for a good reason. It experiences hot and dry summers and mild rainy winters and a typically Mediterranean climate throughout the year. Antalya on average experiences around 300 sunny days every year, making it a great spot for Sun worshippers

10 Weird Places Hidden in Turkey

Get more Tips here!

Turkey is a big country full of different cultures, wonderful people and amazing things to see. And within all the beauty, there is also a bucket load of weird hidden places that you may not have known where hiding there. So, in order to get to know the place better, we bring you these 10 Weird places hidden in Turkey.

1) Pamukkale
Located on the outskirts of an ancient city in the Denizli province, these rock formations have been formed over millennia by carbonate deposits, funnelled into unusual terraces by hot springs and streams. Some people believe that the waters have healing powers.

2) Nemrut Dagi
This eerie site, filled with ancient statues, is thought to be the ancient tombs of King Antiochus, built in the first century. The mountain, located near Adiyaman in southeastern Turkey, contains statues of King Antiochus, lions, eagles and various Greek and Armenian gods.

3) Mount Ararat
This is a dormant volcano and some scholars believe that this is the site where Noah pitched up his ark after the great flood. A 2007 expedition found seven large wooden compartments near the peak of the mountain that correspond to the way an ancient ark would have been constructed and the wood is around 4,800 years old.

4) The Trojan Horse
Most people think that Troy is as fictional as the Cyclops or the Sirens who tried to tempt Odysseus to his death. Today, you can wander around the ruins of the ancient city, climb inside a replica of the Trojan horse, and imagine the battle that sacked one of the most important cities of the ancient world.

5) Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
This tomb was built by the Greek architects for Mausolus, a satrap in the Persian Empire, and his sister-wife Artemisia II of Caria. It was 45 m (148 ft) high, and the four sides were adorned with sculptural reliefs but was destroyed by successive earthquakes. Today, you can see its ruins. This is the origin of the word mausoleum

6) Cappadocia’s cave houses
A number of Goreme residents live in dwellings carved out of the rock, or in large cave structures beneath the ground. Visitors to the area can stay in hotels hewn out of rock faces, and visit underground Byzantine churches.

7) The Temple of Artemis
Located at Ephesus, this was rebuilt twice and was described by some as the most spectacular of the ancient wonders. You can see the foundations and some ruins at the ancient city of Ephesus.

8) Mardin’s sandstone buildings
Mardin was built 4000 years ago entirely of yellow chalk stone. The houses are decorated with different motifs but on the whole are very similar, giving the whole city a slightly unreal look, like a film set. Most of the tourists get lost in its maze like streets.

9) Myra's rock tomb
In ancient times, the wealthy and important citizens of Myra were placed in tombs carved out of the hillside. These beautiful necropoli are haunting monuments to their mysterious occupants who died thousands of years ago, still watching over their ancestors.

10) Gemiler island
The island's ruined church is believed to contain St Nicholas' tomb (patron of sailors). Around 650 AD the remains were transferred to Demre, but pilgrims still visit Gemiler to pay homage to the saint who inspired the modern-day Santa Claus and visit the ruins of the ancient church

Turkish Paradise: Purest Sea and Stunning Nature! Kekova Island, Demre, Myra.

Today we will be going from Antalya city to the southern part of Antalya province, passing through the Kumluca and Finike, and reaching the city of Demre. It is a popular tourists excursion. We will enjoy the beautiful nature, mountain passes, and in my opinion, a very picturesque road with stunning views.
After Finike, a very beautiful serpentine road begins along the sea, with numerous beaches at almost every turn. Some of these beaches are empty, while others are equipped for leisure. But what impressed me the most was the crystal-clear blue water of the sea and the nature. It's a great pleasure to drive on such a beautiful road.
Then you will see the St. Nicholas Church, also known as the Church of St. Nicholas or Santa Claus Church in Demre.
Near the church in Demre, there is another attraction, the ancient city of Myra, ıt s date back 4th century BC. It features well-preserved ancient tombs and an ancient theater. This place looks very majestic and is definitely should visit.
After that, we traveled along a beautiful road through small villages and reached the picturesque and lovely island of Kekova. Here, it is essential to take a boat trip. It is very beautiful place. Enjoy watching.

ANTALYA - Turkey Travel Guide | Around The World

Antalya is the largest city on the Turkish Mediterranean coast, and is one of the hubs of the so-called Turkish Riviera.

Antalya is the closest airport, served by inexpensive flights from Istanbul. (As low as $50, early booking is also available for lower prices).

Most of Antalya's historic buildings can be found along the narrow, winding streets of Kaleiçi, the old quarter. Historical, architectural and archaeological sites of note include: Yivli Minaret, Karatay Medresesi, Hıdırlık Tower, Ahi Yusuf Mescidi, Iskele Mosque, Murat Paşa Mosque, Tekeli Mehmet Paşa Mosque, Balibey Mosque, Musellim Mosque, Seyh Sinan Efendi Mosque, Hadrian Arch, and the Clock Tower. Many structures date back to the Hellenistic era. Also The Antalya Museum has a notable archaeology collection.

Food is extemely cheap, and good. Full meals will cost you about 10 to 20 Turkish Lira, about 5 to 11 US Dollars. Service is amazing, and only matched by its genuine friendliness. Antalya has good seafood restaurants as well. One caveat to be aware of is to make sure the quoted price is the same as the price written on the menu.

Antalya has a lively nightlife in summer. Options include bars with nargile (water pipe), games, live music and sitting around, discotheques with glamorous visitors, etc. On Konyaalti's Beach Park one club follows the next. Some of traditional houses of Kaleiçi (Old City) has been turned into bars, in which a bottle of 'Efes' beer costs around 10 or 12 TL depending on the place. Their gardens shaded by trees offer a nice escape with a beer from the peak of summer heat. Raki is a traditional alcoholic beverage that tastes like licorice. Make sure you do not drink it fast otherwise you will be out quickly.

Antalya Police Department has a tourism police section where travellers can report passport loss and theft or any other criminal activity, they may have become victims of. They have staff multilingual in English, German, French, and Arabic.

Kemer is about 45 km south of Antalya and is a popular, touristic seaside region with historic places, nightlife, and accommodation. Currently (as of Jan 15, 2016), you can reach Kemer by Sea Bus on Saturdays and Sundays only. Antalya departure times (winter timetable): 9:30, 12:30, and 15:30. Kemer departure times (winter timetable): 10:45, 13:45, and 16:45. Cost: 10 TL Deniz Otobüsü website, in Turkish. Boats depart Antalya from the harbor in the old part of town. It is also possible to get to/from Kemer by dolmus for 8 TL. There is an express as well as a local service (which makes stops in Beldibi and Göynük). The express service takes less than an hour and the local service takes about 1.5 hours. Both services are otogar to otogar, but the local service makes many stops along the way. In Kemer, you can catch both the express and the local dolmus at the Clock Tower, rather than going all the way to the otogar. At the clock tower, buses leave every 15 minutes from 7 am on.

Alanya to the south east is a popular tourist destination 2 hours away.

Side to the east is popular with golf links and luxury hotels.

Kaş which is about 2 hours drive from Antalya can be another excellent choice for extended holiday if you decide to run away from the whole crowd.

Kalkan which is half an hour further west of Kas. A beautiful upmarket harbour town with cobbled streets and high quality restaurants. Nearby Patara has the best golden sand beach on the Mediterranean coast, and can be visited even if you are not staying there.

Cirali is a coastal town even closer, with several mid-range, quiet pansiyons to stay at, with pleasant gardens. The beach at Cirali is protected from development because sea turtles come onto shore every year to lay their eggs. The beach at nearby Olimpos is also a nice, pebble beach, as is the one at Adrasan. Accommodations in Olimpos are more backpacker style, with tree houses especially popular with younger travelers.

Demre further west from Olympos, and is the site of the St Nicolas Church, assoicated with the real Santa Claus (don't miss the larger than life Santa Claus statue in town.) Also just outside Demre are Lycian rock tombs in the cliffsides. The Antalya region has some of the finest Roman ruins in the country, including Perge and Aspendos, with the largest, most well preserved Roman amphitheater anywhere.
