Cullera is a small town in Spain, which is very popular for citizens of the city of Valencia. Nevertheless Cullera got famous also for hosting the EDM festival Medusa Festival. Thus maybe Cullera will become place to go in Spain. The beach of cullera consists of long kilometers of walk. The best way to move is by renting a bike or e-scooter. Be aware that in the beach you have spots, where the flags of colour either RED / YELLOW / GREEN are hanging.

???? YELLOW = You should go in the sea with caution
???? GREEN = You can go in the sea

Be aware also that the main season in Cullera is the whole summer. Thus you will get crowded beach, unless you are ready to go to the right or left coast of the beach. The right and left coasts are less crowded. As mentioned many citizens from Valencia are renting the apartments (apartamentos) in Valencia and are spending their whole summer vacations on the playa de Cullera

Best Beaches in Cullera, Spain

The town of Cullera is located on the Mediterranean coast, only 38 km south of the city of Valencia. It is mainly composed by an extensive plain, of which is the main prominence is Cullera Mountain, which reaches a height of 235 m.

Its eleven wonderful beaches provide everybody with the opportunity to enjoy themselves. We can choose between the more urban, busier beaches, such as San Antonio and Racó, spacious, quiet beaches such as La Escollera, other semi-developed beaches with fine, golden sands that are ideal for families, such as Marenyet and Brosquil, beaches for practicing water sports, such as Cap Blanc, for snorkelling, such as El Faro, beaches with dunes, such as El Dosel, and finally beaches where we can practice nudism, such as Mareny de Sant Llorenc.

Today we take a Valencia day trip to Cullera Spain, a beautiful coastal city, with beautiful Spanish beaches, just 30 minutes south of Valencia by train. Cullera has many sites to offer and more than we could see in just a few hours.

Cullera's prime attraction is a refurbished 10th century castle sitting at the very peak of the city's mountain...which we climb. It boasts beautiful, commanding views of the sea and city below and as far as the eye can see.

The beaches in Cullera are lined with cute seafront restaurants serving the freshest seafood caught that day. With a glass of white wine, and a fresh made Paella, it's hard to not say wow!

The main beach in Cullera, is known as ‘Playa de Cullera and is a popular destination for both locals and tourists visiting the area. The coastline of Cullera, stretches approximately 9 Miles (15 Kilometers) and has a number of great beaches. Several of the beaches have been awarded the Blue Flag and are certainly worth visiting if you are in the area.

Cullera Valencia Spain

So Cullera is well worth a visit, not only have the 11 great beaches but the castle as well, and its a very cheap castle to enter, 3€ entry when I went but it might vary.
If you want to go to Valencia then by bus its 5€ taxi 60/75€ by train as little as 2.80€ and if you drive yourself, its 36 minute drive. Sunbeds are 4.50€ per day to rent, there is a nudist beach in Cullera but not sure of the location. And the beach challenge, Cullera 1750 mtrs long and 75 wide, Gandia 3000 metres long and 150 metres wide.
