Cuenca is one of the best day trips you can take from Valencia. Only 1h away on a train and you are in this museum city full of history, 15th century hanging houses portrayed even in Japanese manga stories. The landscape is gorgeous and there are a few super interesting museums to see.

The MICHELIN Guide makes you discover the diversity of the Spanish culinary scene and of its rich heritage around the best local products. Jesús Segura, chef of the 1 MICHELIN-starred restaurant Trivio in Cuenca was the host of Begoña Rodrigo, chef of the 1 MICHELIN-starred restaurant La Salita in Valencia. Together they made an itinerary through the province of Cuenca.
In addition to visit the city of Cuenca and the Serranía de Cuenca Natural Park, they enjoyed Jairo Abarca's explanations about the collection of wild plants, mushrooms and even experienced live the search for the precious truffle and, of course, they were delighted with the gastronomy of the area in the restaurants Nelia de Villalba de la Sierra (Bib Gourmand), Raff San Pedro from Cuenca, leaving for the end the delicious dinner at Trivio.
