Tierralta es un municipio del departamento de Córdoba, en el Alto Sinú, su cabecera alberga a aproximadamente 50.000 habitantes, con una economía de gran movimiento comercial, y ganadería extensiva, gran productor de plátano, yuca, maíz que lo convierten en despensa de la costa y el resto del país. A 78 kilómetros de la capital, posee uno de los parques nacionales más grandes del mundo: el Nudo del Paramillo, lugar de nacimiento del río Sinú, que alimenta a la Hidroeléctrica de Urrá que produce 340 MW.

Local food in Cartagena, Colombia is really a wonderful treat for the hungry stomachs of locals and tourists in this marvelous touristic destination of the Colombian Caribbean.
But if you come here you will have to know where to eat the famous arepa e' huevo.
The arepa e ' huevo is a local delicacy that I insist would have defeated the Egg MacMuffin if the McDonalds people would have known about it before or at the same time.
This food for the soul was invented to fight the hunger of the locals, rich and poor, since immemorial times. It consists of a patty of corn flour filled with one egg and meat and then deep fried.
The local food place I am presenting to you in my show is Dora, fritos de tradición and is located in the Plaza de San Diego in the walled city of Cartagena de Indias.
And because not everything is food we will get to see a cigars bar that sells original cuban cigars. Make sure you buy cigars in authorized stores , as the ones they sell on the streets might be forfeited. In this store they sell the famous Cohiba cigars which can not be sold in the United States due to the embargo to Cuba. So you can take cuban cigars back to US with no problem. Another good reason to come to Colombia.
It will be a pleasure to be your tour guide in Cartagena and all around Colombia. I am a certified tour guide that will take you on a discovery of the best things that my country has to offer. And sometimes you will not feel like a tourist but like a local.

Here are the highlights from our 2021 Gala Final at the Hilton Wembley
a collection of incredible businesswomen from across the globe gathered to celebrate success. After holding the awards online in 2020, the 7th Annual Best Businesswomen Awards was back face to face.

The Pandemic didn't stop these women from powering through with their businesses. The final was attended by 80 finalists, selected by a panel of business experts from hundreds of entries.
Each finalist was recognised with either a Silver or Gold Award presented in front of 300 attendees at the glamourous Gala Final. The women chosen are at the top of their field from a wide range of industries. The awards aim to showcase and reward exceptional business talent and inspire other women on their business journey.

Finalists attended from across the globe, from Philadelphia to Spain.
Debbie Gilbert, the founder of the Awards, said, The past 18 months have been ones of disruption and uncertainty. It has been difficult for every business owner in one way or another. However, the sheer resilience of female entrepreneurs shone through, and this demonstrates the determination and tenacity of women in business who were not going to let a virus beat them.
The celebration included the Rio Carnival group, Star Dance and singers The Queen Beats. Each year the event fundraises with a raffle in aid of the previous year's Charity Champion Winner; this year was the turn of the Lady Yomara Rodriguez Cardenas, founder of the Santa Maria Foundation. This charity supports young girls in Columbia, and they sent a message of thanking in the form of the video which was played at the event, a very touching and emotional moment. £4,500 was raised, which will go towards funding more projects. Lady Yomara Rodriguez Cardenas said, 'I was so honoured and grateful for the recognition to win Charity Champion in 2020. We are delighted with the sum raised, which is tremendously helpful, especially during this time.

The Best Businesswomen awards will reopen again in 2022 and are ready to recognise more women to add to the 500 already recognised since its inception in 2015.

Founded in 2015 by multi-award winning entrepreneur Debbie Gilbert, the Best Business Women Awards are now considered to be one of the UK’s most prestigious awards for business women.

The awards cover a wide variety of industries and recognise and reward female business talent.
