The cooking couple visits the town of Cee, Corcubion and Lires right in the heart of the Coast of Death (Galicia, Northwestern part of Spain) and also part of the Pilgrimage route from Santiago de Compostela to Finisterre called in Spanish El Camino.
There will be another one or two videos where we will be visiting the city of A Coruna where we have taken incredible shots of ocean waves brutally beaten the shores of the Hercules Tower ( the only Roman LIghthouse in the world still in use and landmark of the A Coruna city). We also visited places in rural inner Galicia such as a small village called Seadur, A Rua and O Barco, all located in a well known wine region in the province of Orense, Galicia called Valdeorras. We will be enjoying some wine tasting from local, commercial and non commercial,wine growers and producers.

This video is the final section of the Camino de Santiago, from Cee to Fisterre (edge of the world). All the recent rain was now long gone and after walking over 800km from Pamplona, after 34 days I had eventually arrived in Finisterre. There were times when I didn't think I'd ever make it but the feeling of accomplishment when arriving is a feeling I'll never forget. Buen camino!

In this video we visited A Coruna city, the place I was born. A very friendly city and as the locals say Nobody is a Foreigner in our city. It is been a short stay and we have visited iconic places in A Coruna such us: the A Coruna Port, the harbour, Riazor beach, Calle de los Vinos for local wines and delicious tapas, the old city , the Hercules Tower and its wild coast and more. Although it was a sunny day, the sea in La Torre de Hercules coastline was quite rough and it was also a bit windy. We managed to get some amazing shots of this fantastic and mystic
We have also visited an amazing photo exhibition in the port of A Coruna by Peter Lindbergh who was a famous fashion German photographer and movie director. His work used to be on the covers of magazines like Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, and it has been shown in museums worldwide, among them the V&A in London, the Centre Pompidou in Paris and in the port of A Coruna during our visit here.

Although A Coruna and in general all the coastal towns and cities in Galicia are famous for its variety of seafood and specially shellfish, this time as we were in the Carnival season we have shown in the video one of the most typical dishes around this time, Cocido Gallego which was cooked by our forever friends Minin and Reme. Also a typical desert at this time of the year and sometimes eaten alonside the Cocido are the Galician crepes called in Galician language Filloas . Minin and Reme also surprised us with one of our favourites cheeses called Queso Gallego from a nearby town called Curtis.
One image is said to be worth more than a thousand words and so the purpose of this video. We had an amazing time in A Coruna and I am sure you will have it too if you decide to pay A Coruna a visit. I definitely recommend it. Well worth it !!! Viva A Coruna and viva Galicia !!!

On Molly's birthday we walked into Finisterre and touched the final km m marker signifying the end of our journey. What a fitting way to end our Camino! We have dinner tonight with our new American friends , we feel relaxed, we feel relieved and we feel accomplished. This for me was truly the end of our camino and the tears did flow!! I am so proud of my family and blown away that we actually did it. We walked the width of Spain, end to end. Thank you to everyone along the way, we will never forget you!
