Today we invite you to a beautiful walking tour in Valencia in Spain.
Valencia is a city in Spain located on the Mediterranean coast. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country due to its beautiful architecture, historical sites and beaches.
The city was founded by the Romans in 138 BC and since then it has become an important center of trade and culture. Today Valencia is the second largest city in Spain after Madrid.
One of the main attractions of the city is the Old Town, which has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Here you can see many historical buildings, such as the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, the Government Palace and the Palace of the Dukes of Benavente.
In addition, Valencia is famous for its beaches, which are considered among the best in Europe. The coastline is full of hotels and restaurants, as well as a variety of outdoor activities such as surfing, kitesurfing and yachting.
All in all, Valencia is a great city for tourists and offers many opportunities for recreation and entertainment.

Für einen Städteurlaub empfehlen wir Frühjahr und Herbst bei milden Temperaturen. Valencia ist super für eine Kombination aus Städtetrip und Badeurlaub, um auch die fantastischen Strände ausgiebig genießen zu können. Die beste Reisezeit hierfür ist Juni oder September.
Die zentrale Plaça de la Reina, der Platz der Königin, ist ein guter Startpunkt für deinen Streifzug durch die Altstadt. Hier steht die Kathedrale auf den Grundmauern einer alten Moschee, die sogar auf einem römischen Tempel stand. Von ihrem Glockenturm El Micalet hast du eine Panorama-Aussicht über die Stadt. Gran Fira de Valencia (Great Valencia Fair) was definitely worth seeing as it's the opening ceremony for the festivities of July!! This city is my favourite in Spain and the traditional wear and dance, the gunpowder fire works, and historical walk through the old town, it just made me love it even more.

Hello Hoppers! Once you get to Valencia you want to explore the city but you can also take a Renfe Train to the Coast, or the Valencia Shore, as I call it, for a beach vacation.
At the beautiful Estacio del Nord (North Station) train station (Xativa stop on the metro), I show you how I buy a ticket and take a short ride to the town of Cullera to relax by the beach for a few days.
As soon as I arrived, I got a warm welcome from some very active birds.
You'll see it is super easy to take public transportation to nearby beach towns in Valencia. I hope you find this helpful.

el palomar sits in the centre of the fruit growing lush val d'albaida which streches from gandia on the coast to bocairent. it has all amenities within walking ists, doctors, hairdressers, mini spar (the gossip centre) bakers, butchers,free internet access, large wooded park where the locals cook their paellas & that stunning pool ! throughout the year each town & village celebrate their annual fiestas with music and dancing, marching bands and colourful parades. tourist offices in albaida (5mins) and ontinyent (10mins) have information on all the local attractions as well as maps for walkers and hikers. beaches of the gandia area are a half hour's drive away as are the historic cave houses in bocairente, with jativa a short 15 minutes drive and the cultural city of valencia an hour's drive away. there are several major supermarkets and a wider variety of restaurants in the neighbouring larger towns just a short drive away, there is even a macdonalds in ontinyent!
