Canary Wharf | Things to do in London's Financial District
Canary Wharf is a commercial business district in the East End of London, located in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. It is named after the West India Docks on which it was built and was once one of the busiest docks in the world. Today, Canary Wharf is home to some of the largest and most prestigious commercial buildings in London, including One Canada Square, which was the tallest building in the UK until 2010. It is a major financial centre and home to numerous banks, financial institutions, and media outlets. The area also has a vibrant shopping and entertainment scene, including bars, restaurants, and cinemas.

Most tourists to London visit only the historical Central London and are not aware that there is a beautiful place in east London called Canary Wharf. Canary Wharf is the second largest financial district after central London in the UK and Europe. There are 3 beautiful parks, skyscrapers and a roof garden in Canary Wharf which are all free to visit. Canary Wharf is located only 3 stops away from London Bridge tube station by Jubilee Line.
