Cambrils is a very cozy coastal town in Tarragona province in Catalonia Spain. It’s located next to another famous summer resort Salou. Both of them attract many tourists every summer. This time we’re visiting Cambrils in the night around the tourist area by the port. We’re also gonna go through the crowds and enjoy the street view.
For many years the main economic activities of the municipality were fishing and agriculture. However, the tourism boom since the mid-1960s has made the construction and services sector the main source of income for Cambrils.
Cambrils is considered the gastronomic capital of the Costa Dorada. It has 60 restaurants, including some of international fame and with Michelin star badges , such as the Can Bosch restaurant and the Diego restaurant, as well as numerous bars, cafes, terraces, ice cream parlors, etc...
The two economic activities that have traditionally characterized Cambrils were agriculture and fishing. In 2001, the activities of the primary sector employed 5.66% of the employed population.
Torre del Puerto: 17th century watchtower that served to defend against pirate attacks, which is why it was also known as the tower of the Moors. Located in front of the port, it is part of the well-known port façade of Cambrils. The neighborhood of the marina or the port of Cambrils was built around the protection offered by this defensive tower, which between the 17th and 18th centuries was equipped with artillery. In the 20th century, it passed into private hands, who modified its upper part giving it its current appearance.

Tarragona AKA Tarraco, as it was called in Roman Times, is just a short drive from Barcelona and there's Salou and Cambrils also very close by. The city is so charming with lots to see and do, with some impressive roman ruins, cool cafes, a beautiful beach and some great shopping.

Welcome to Parc Samà! Built in 1881, during Romanticism, the botanic garden of Cambrils offers 14 hectares in the open air where more than 1.500 species of flora and fauna live. We love this hidden gem and only found out about it by chance: someone left a map of it in our villa. We saw deer, peacocks, pheasants, turtles, exotic birds, hedgehogs… Feeding the animals was a highlight of our visit. Parc Samà takes care of its family and participates in various conservation plans, as we could learn from information boards across the Park. Join us on a walk through this beautiful estate built in 1881. Parc Samà evokes the exuberance of the old colonies and is one of the best examples of romantic gardening. Wide spaces, exotic species and modernist elements to enjoy. In this video the travel turtles visit Cambrils in Costa Dorada, Spain. We give a tour of Cambrils beaches, Town and Old Town. This is a seafaring village in the province of Tarragona (Catalonia) and has an extremely long coastline with sandy beaches and a beautiful old town. We flew here for a four day break from England and also visited Salou the neighbouring resort during our stay.

My Top Tips For Salou, Spain | Resort Guide
I have been visiting Salou for the last 20 years, most recently in June 2023. Here are my top tips of things to see and do, and things to help you get the most out of your holiday.
We booked our holiday with Tui and stayed at the Salou Princess for 7 nights. Check out my other video for a review and hotel tour.
When you are in Salou I suggest to get a bus card which will allow you to use the local busses. Journeys for as little as 1 Euro per journey. You only need 1 card per family.
PORT AVENTURA WORLD
We purchased our tickets in advance from they were gate ready so no queuing on arrival. We paid £46 for 1 day. You can get park hopper tickers, different lengths and set day tickets. We chose an open dated ticket.
If you have access needs and are unable to queue, head to guest services on arrival and you can get a band that allows you + 3 people to go in the exit on each ride once.
You will need to show some form of evidence such as blue badge, or Pip letter etc.

At house of Illusion they also have West End Show and Bingo Bangas. Great for all the family!
