Another place you must visit is the Rio Pance. Without a doubt, this is one of the best open-air activities that you can do in Cali. The Pance River, named after the mountain where it rises, is located outside the city and has been a favorite place with the locals to commune with Mother Nature; and with good reason, as the landscapes along its 25 kilometer length are absolutely fascinating, unspoiled, and full of life.
Resting on Río Pance banks is an eco-park commonly known by the Cali community as the Parque de la Salud; it is a place to breathe fresh and pure air, enjoy a good walk, and the delicious and cold river. Here you can buy or cook your own Sancocho de Gallina or any food you want to taste taking advantage of the equipment of the place. I didn't have the chance to visit it this time due to the weather that had been happening in those days, but I highly recommend you to add it to your travel agenda.
You can taste a delicious Tinto while walking on San Joaquin Avenue, which is one of the main avenues, where you will find all the restaurants, venues, and boutiques located in Ciudad Jardin.
Having a Tinto on a cold afternoon in Cali is one of the favorite plans and one of the most deeply rooted traditions of the Colombian people.
What is a Tinto you may ask?
The famous Colombian Tinto is a very concentrated coffee, whose tonality could well fit this definition as an analogy to the famous vino tinto which is English for red wine.
Coffee or tinto? No matter how you say it, what is really important is to enjoy the aroma and flavor of this beverage so representative of Colombians. There is nothing better!
Another place you have to visit is Christ the King, which is a statue of Jesus 26 meters high, which has one of the biggest attractions of the city, which is the view of Cali that you can have from above. The sculpture has a great religious connotation for being a symbol of Peace, built in gratitude to the Patron Saint of the city, El Cristo Redentor, after the end of the sadly known Guerra de los Mil Días. Once at the top, the view is breathtaking and the Christ Statue is monumental, beautiful... something spectacular.
To delight your palate you can eat delicious roasted corn on the cob and down the road, you will find typical food restaurants and pizzerias with specialties for all tastes.

5 MUST EATS IN CALI COLOMBIA ????
We always thought Colombian food was boring, simple, because the Colombian restaurants I’d go to in Chicago were all the same: empanadas and bandeja paisa, food from the central region of Colombia. Don’t get me wrong, the bandeja paisa’s not bad, I just didn’t find it all that impressive. But Cali is a whole different story!!
