Hey guys! We're in Indonesia for a week. Yeah, so this is our second time back in Indonesia and this week we're going to be exploring Yogyakarta and Central Java and this video is going to show you some of the top attractions in the region. Can't wait to show you around. Let's go!
For our very first stop in Central Java, we headed to the biggest Buddhist monument in the world and the most popular attraction in the region: Borobudur.
So we are ready for another adventure. Tell us! Yeah, we're heading up to Mount Merapi and there is basically two different ways you can do it. You can hike up but we're going with a jeep. Yeah, it'll be fun. Hop on in.
After a few days in Jogja, we hopped on a train and headed towards Solo, also known as Surakarta. The ride was a little over an hour, and not only was it an inexpensive way to travel, but it was also incredibly scenic. We zoomed past villages and rice fields, and before we knew it, we had arrived.
So right now we're inside Pasar Triwindu which is an antiques market here in Solo and we are seeing some real gems.
So I went shopping for my Batik and I found one I really like. It cost about 30 US dollars and I can't wait to start wearing it. I think the first time I'll try it on is for dinner soon.
So we're starting off with coconut milk pancakes which are called Serabi.
Our next stop in Solo was the Mangkunegaran Palace, which dates back to 1757. Part of the royal family still lives here, so you can’t wander around.
Another way to experience Solo is by doing a tour on a pedibike, also known as a becak.
This trip was all about going in search of food, culture and a little bit of adventure. Over the course of the week we visited ancient temples, browsed through antique markets, ate our fair share of street food, and tackled a rather infamous volcano. In this video we are going to show you 20 things to do in Yogyakarta and Central Java, so let’s get started.

In this video, I am going to show most attractions visited and recommended places on Java Island, Indonesia, so let’s start:

So I started with Mount Ijen aka Ijen volcano 12.30 AM which is located at the eastern end of the island of Java, Indonesia.
But before that, if you want to know where I stayed and how I reach Banyuwangi from Bali or Delhi you can find another video link below.
Continue to Mount Ijen I recommend you go with a sweater or jacket because there is a high cold temperature and about Mount Ijen I paid Rp.100K (Rs.500) for the entry fee. You can go by yourself if you don’t require a guide but I visited with Tour Package which is Rp.300K (Rs. 1500) and I booked from my hostel only which is Ijen backpackers. About Mount Ijen, The magnificent turquoise-colored sulfur lake at the core of the Ijen volcano is the world's largest acidic lake and was formed by a volcanic crater.
I don’t recommend this place for a person who has breath issues because the air will be full of sulfur Gas. Then we headed to The Ijen Blue Fire The combustion of sulfuric gases produces an electric-blue flame. Then after we headed to sunset point it can be seen from there.

So this waterfall is 65KM away from Malang. I started around 10 AM and reached by 12 PM around and also this waterfall is closed by 3 PM. I paid Rp.20K for the Entry Fee for the Panorama view and Rp.5K for Parking Charge, Again you have to pay 20k at a downside in the waterfall. This place is good for a hike but a little slippery so better to go with proper shoes. There will be signs available for directions so that is little relief. Beautiful place and I recommend at least visiting once, you can see literally a rainbow from the top.

So here I show two types of villages one is a colorful and the second blue village. The blue village's name is Kampung Biru Arema, which is near the rainbow village.
