BUÑOL SPAIN TRAVEL
This town is the setting for one of Spain’s most unusual fiestas.
Buñol is just 39 kilometres from the city of Valencia, in a mountainous area close to the coast. In the surrounding region you will have the chance to enjoy beautiful nature areas such as Alta Cave, the Juanes River and Turche Cave, where there is a 60 metre waterfall at rainy times of year. The town also has many parks and gardens. Other points of interest are its 13th century castle, the old town around it and El Salvador Church, which also houses the town’s Archaeological Museum. Nevertheless, it is in August when thousands of people head for Buñol to take part in its famous “Tomatina”. This amusing fiesta involves everyone hurling tomatoes at each other and has the International Tourist Interest designation.

LA TOMATINA 2019 - WORLD’S BIGGEST FOOD FIGHT DRAWS TENS OF THOUSANDS TO BUÑOL, SPAIN
The mother of all food fights. 20,000 people descend upon the town of Buñol, 38 km’s west of Valencia in the east of Spain on the last Wednesday of August. Water cannons are fired off to signal the start of the mayhem of La Tomatina.
Trucks carrying a bounty of tomatoes plough through the crowds. It’s every man and women for themselves in a crazy hour of throwing tomatoes at anything and anyone that moves. The fighting ends when the cannon is fired again to signal the end and fire trucks are brought in to hose down the streets. Check out our guide to La Tomatina.

Короткое видео о моем одно из самых любимых мест. Я бываю здесь довольно часто. Находится 35 километров от Валенсии, рядом с городом Буньоль. Это шикарное озеро с водопадом около 15 метров и пещерами. Очень тихое и спокойное место. Рядом есть парковки, также возле самого озера есть несколько столов с лавками для пикника. Советую приезжать люда в будние, так как на выходных очень много народу.
