Driving in Algiers - From Les Bananiers in Bordj El Kiffan to the Main Bus Station of Caroubier
On this relatively short trip, I'm driving from the lively neighborhood of Les Bananiers (Banana Trees or the Banana Grove) in the area of Tamarès (Bordj El Kiffan) to the Caroubier Main Bus Station, the capital's bus airport with buses servicing every single city in the country. It's very important that visitors and tourists know how to go to that bus station if they want to travel to any region of the country by bus.

Driving in Algiers - From Bachdjerrah to Bordj El Kiffan via the Fair (la Foire)
In this video, I'm filming a trip from Bachdjerrah (in the eastern part of Algiers) to Bordj El Kiffan (ex-Fort de l'eau - on the eastern seashore) via the area commonly known as La Foire (the Fair) and officially known as Pins Maritimes. This is the old and most popular route to go from the central parts of Algiers to Bordj El Kiffan, however, you should absolutely avoid this route during rush hour or in a period when there's an event at the Fair where the Palace of Exhibitions is located and where some of Algiers' biggest fairs are organized. Traffic would literally be paralyzed during such periods.

Walking Tour in Algiers - The El Harrach Prise d'Eau (Water Outlet) Park
Let's visit the El Harrach Prise d'Eau (Water Outlet) Park located in the southern part of the El Harrach neighborhood, on the road to Baraki. This is across from another neighborhood of El Harrach known as Trois Caves (Three Cellars) and not very far from the Zmirli Hospital. The Prise d'Eau Park is on the western bank of the (sadly) still polluted El Harrach River, however the river itself, although still not beautiful to look at because of its black color, isn't a nuisance because it doesn't smell at all. Walking Tour in Algeria - Numidian Park Hadjout
This walking tour, which is part of our trip to Tipasa (west of Algiers), is a visit to the Numidian Park (Parc Numide) which is located just outside of the town of Hadjout, southwest of the city of Tipasa. I filmed the video with my friend and fellow YouTuber Baha Eddine Ait Seddik who owns an Arabic-speaking channel about mobile phone technologies (find the link at the end of the description).The Numidian Park is a cultural and amusement park. It has an alley bordered with the statues of the most prominent Amazigh (Berber) Numidian kings (including Jugurtha and Juba I who resisted Roman occupation in North Africa), Juba II the husband of Cleopatra Selene (the daughter of Egypt's Cleopatra) buried in the mausoleum of Sidi Rached (west of Tipasa), and Massinissa, the Numidian king who unified North Africa in the 3rd century BC. There's also a hiking path, an amusement park, a picnic area (but no food is allowed into the park except for what you buy there - I know this is a radical measure to curb littering but it's not very good since there aren't many restaurants offering a variety of dishes there). And there's also a zoo under construction. The whole area is still under development and once it's completely finished, I'm sure it's gonna be a very beautiful park to visit. Enjoy :-)

Join me this time as I'm driving from Hussein Dey to the Bordj El Kiffan seafront where you can visit a couple beaches and see the Bordj El Kiffan fort, currently being renovated. The seafront has a long walkway on the seashore. There are a few hotels there and the area isn't very far from the streetcar line located on a very commercially active boulevard. I like visiting the walkway and my favorite pizza parlor is located in that area, too. Algiers Around Algiers. Have fun!

Walking Tour in Algeria - The Guedouari Beach in Corso, Boumerdes
This is my visit to the Guedouari Beach in Corso, Boumerdes. This beach is located just west of the Corso Beach (west of the city of Boumerdes). Boumerdes is visible from this beach. The road that leads to it is at the western exit of the town of Corso (west of Boumerdes). It's one of my favorite beaches in the summer. It's big and has two parking lots. Corso itself is a small and nice town but, sadly, it doesn't have lots of restaurants or ice cream parlors where you can enjoy eating and refreshing yourself after a nice day at the beach. Guedouari is a family beach. You'll find tents and beach umbrellas for rental and if you take your own beach umbrella, there's plenty of space where you can set it up. I enjoy visiting this beach even on a cold and windy day like the day I filmed this video last winter. Have a nice trip and enjoy :-)
