Bodrum has everything you could want in terms of history, fun, culture, and food. The city is on the beautiful Turkish coast near the Aegean Sea. It is surrounded by turquoise waters and beautiful beaches, making it a great place to relax in the sun and see some of the city's great sights. Number 10. Mausoleum of Halicarnassus
The Mausoleum was once one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, but now all that is left of it are its ruins. It was destroyed by a number of earthquakes over the years. The tomb was built for King Mausolus, and it was said to have been as tall as 46 meters. It was known for its beauty and impressive architecture because of its beautiful friezes. In addition to the earthquakes, many of the old blocks were taken away by the Knights of St. John to help build Bodrum Castle.
Number 9. Boat Trip
One of the most popular things for tourists to do in Bodrum is to take a boat tour of Turkey's beautiful coves, bays, and beaches. There are a lot of great tour companies in the city, and cruises are a great way to see more of the coast while enjoying life on a boat. On the trips, you always stop to scuba gear in crystal clear waters that are clean and clear, visit the hot springs on Black Island, and look at the beautiful Turkish coast.
Number 8. Yahsi Beach
Yahsi has something for everyone to enjoy. It has a long sandy beach, beautiful water, and a lot of bars, restaurants, and shops. Relaxing on the beach is a great way to spend the day, but it can get crowded and is mostly for tourists. The beach is close to a lot of places to eat, so you can eat one minute and then jump back into the warm water of the Aegean the next.
Number 7. Bardakci Beach
Bardakci is one of the most beautiful beaches in Bodrum. It's close to the city centre and a great place to relax and soak up the sun after a busy morning of sightseeing. The beach is in a beautiful little cove with palm trees and a great view of the clear water. Bardakci is very built up because it is a resort beach. As a result, there are more than enough things to do for tourists.
Number 6. Windmills in Bodrum
The old windmills are on top of a hill with a view of Bodrum, Gumbet, and even the Greek island of koscielny. Some of them are in good shape, while others look like they've been through a lot. Their whitewashed walls shine in the sun and stand out against the blue sky above and the sun-bleached grass around them. The windmills themselves aren't much to look at, but the view from the top of the hill is breathtaking and more than makes up for the climb.
Number 5. Zeki Muren Arts Museum
The arts museum is named after Zeki Muren, a musician and actor. This is the last place Zeki Muren lived before he died, and it is a wonderful place. Fans of this famous Turkish singer will love this collection of interesting things about his life and career.

Antalya is one of the most interesting cities in Turkey! In this video, we highlight the 10 best things to do in Antalya. We hope that this information will help you plan your own trip to Antalya.
The 10 best things to do in Antalya, Turkey include:
10. The Upper Düden Falls. These waterfalls are an oasis of peace and nature located in the bustling city of Antalya.
9. The Tünek Tepe hike. The trail is located right on the outskirts of the city and is about 7km out-and-back. The top of the trail offers a birds-eye view of Antalya as well as the beautiful blue waters and mountains around.

8. The Lower Düden Falls. These waterfalls are in a different location than the Upper Düden Falls, but both are part of the same underground river. The water drops about 40m into the sea, creating an impressive sight.
7. The 7th best thing to do in Antalya is to watch the sunset. With its year-round good weather, Antalya is the perfect place to see the sun go down. Our favorite spots are the Old Town Harbour and Atatürk Park.
6. The ancient city of Aspendos, which is one of the best-preserved Roman theatre in the Mediterranean. There is an impressive old theatre, which is still in use today. You’ll also find ancient ruins of the city, such as an arena, basilica, aqueducts, temples and streets.
5. The Kursunlu waterfall ranks number 5 in Antalya because of its unique color and lush nature around it. It is located about 22km to the north of Antalya, but it feels much further from the city. The area consists of waterfalls connecting 7 ponds and a backdrop of lush pine trees.
4. The fourth best thing to do in Antalya is to visit the ancient city of Perge. Here, you can see the remains of the city, such as the column lined streets, the necropolis, Roman baths, and Greek and Roman gates.
3. Konyaalti Beach. It's one of the two main beaches of Antalya and located on the western side of the city. The beach itself is made of pebbles instead of sand, with a beach park and numerous bars, cafes, and hotels right beside it. Konyaalti Beach is the perfect place to cool off on a hot summer day.
2. The Old Town (Kaleici). This is Antalya’s most picturesque place. You’ll find narrow cobblestone streets, traditional houses, and a charming harbour. But besides that, it’s also the historic heart of Antalya. The best way to learn about the history of the Old Town and other things to do is to join a free walking tour.

FASCINATING Day Trip to BODRUM TURKEY!
Bodrum Turkey: Exploring the ancient Theatre, the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, Bodrum Castle and a tour of the harbour and markets.

Lots of people holiday in or around Bodrum every year and it’s a very popular place to enjoy the long summer months and relax on the Turkish Riviera. I did just that and decided to catch a local bus into the city and take a tour around some of its incredible sites – both old and new.
I started down on the harbour and made my way through a labyrinth of narrow streets to the busy market area. There is plenty of opportunity for a deal or two especially if you like your brands. After a quick look around I headed over to the city’s fortifications.
Bodrum castle was built in the 15th century by the Knights of St John and is one of the city’s most prominent tourist attractions. Inside it’s possible to walk around and explore the towers, courtyard and recently updated museums. Make sure you find your way up to the top and take in the spectacular views across the harbour, beaches and the rest of the city.
Next on my list was the mausoleum of Halicarnassus which was about 20 minutes walk away from the castle. This is the site of a humongous tomb built for Mausolus – a former ruler of Caria. The tomb was built nearly 2500 years ago and would’ve stood more than 40 metres tall. Sadly it was destroyed in the 16th century leaving just ruins where it once stood.
My final destination was the ancient theatre of Halicarnassus – a Greco-Roman theatre built in the fourth century BCE. The theatre is about 10 minutes walk on from the mausoleum and free to enter. It’s positioned on the side of a hill so not only do you get to experience the sight of such a historic place but if you climb to the very top (which you are allowed to do) the panoramic views across Bodrum are outstanding. It was the perfect place to end the video so that’s exactly what I did.
I’m glad I got to spend the day in Bodrum and take a tour of some of its many sites – lots of history, entrancing architecture and wonderful views. Definitely recommended.

BODRUM 2023 Short overview. Vacation in Bodrum, Turkey. Main attractions
In this video you will see beatiful Turkish town - Bodrum. It is a popular tourist destination located on the southwestern coast of Turkey, along the Aegean Sea. It is a picturesque city known for its stunning beaches, rich history, vibrant nightlife, and beautiful landscapes.
We will see the main tourist attractions: ıt's Budrum - marina, windmills on the hill, Bodrum Castle (St. Peter's Castle), Antique amphitheater, Ancient mausoleum. And just enjoy the beautiful streets of the city and its views.
The city has very narrow streets and almost all the houses are white, this gives the city a special coziness. Let's walk up the hill to the windmills.
The iconic windmills of Bodrum are located on a hill overlooking the city. These whitewashed windmills offer a picturesque backdrop for panoramic views of Bodrum and its surroundings. They are particularly enchanting during sunset.
The Bodrum windmills date back to the 18th century and are remnants of a time when wind power was utilized for grinding grains. These windmills played a vital role in the local economy by helping farmers process their crops into flour.
There are many small hotels in Bodrum. The price for a regular room starts at an average of $50 per day.
One of the most prominent landmarks in Bodrum is the Bodrum Castle, also known as the Castle of St. Peter. Built by the Knights Hospitaller in the 15th century, the castle is now home to the Museum of Underwater Archaeology. It offers fascinating insights into the region's maritime history.
Bodrum Castle is an amazing place where you can spend a few hours enjoying incredible views and learning about the history of these places through museum exhibits including old ships.
The next day we went to see the ancient amphitheater and the mausoleum. The ancient amphitheater of Bodrum, built in the 4th century BC, is another noteworthy attraction. It is still used for various cultural events and performances, offering visitors a chance to witness the historical ambiance while enjoying concerts or shows.
In my opinion, Bodrum is a beautiful city. It is a must visit.
