Walking in Algiers El Madania El Fidae Square
In this video, I'm filming the beautiful El Fidae Square in the central part of El Madania (ex-Clos Salembier, Algiers), where a small replica of the Martyrs' Square is installed. The square is in front of the municipality's city hall and post office. I usually use this square as a departure point to start my road trip videos from El Madania. The square has benches but it doesn't have trees for shade.
Driving in Algiers - From Hussein Dey to the Botanical Garden
I haven't used Hussein Dey as a departure point in a long time, but this time, I'm starting my video from this beautiful neighborhood of eastern Algiers to go to the city's old and beautiful Botanical Garden, aka Jardin d'Essai, located in El Hamma which is part of the municipality of Belouizdad. The Botanical Garden is so close to Hussein Dey that you could, actually go there on foot. The whole area is one of the most beautiful in all of Algiers. Have a nice trip :-)

Driving In Algiers - El Madania - How To Avoid The Central Roundabout Of El Madania
I drive very often in El Madania, and of course, when you enter a neighborhood, you've got to leave it. Recently, I've grown more and more frustrated with the annoying traffic jam around the main square. That's why I'm using Boukhari Brothers (Frères Boukhari), Ticherafi Hacene and Madani Brothers' Streets as a shortcut to drive to Oulmane Boulevard, the expressway that links El Madania to the Les Anassers Highway and allows you to access Algiers' main motorways.

In this video, I'm showing you how to drive back to the Ben Aknoun-Dar El Beida Motorway (National Highway 5) from National Highway 1 (N1 - Blida Road) in case you take the latter by mistake. It's very important to learn how to correct your errors on the road as soon as you make them, but sometimes, that's not really easy, hence this video where we had to enter Birkhadem, drive around its complex network of streets, get back on National Highway 1 before we re-entered National Highway 5.

In this video, I'm filming a round trip from Bir Mourad Rais to the Les Fusilles Square, then I'm showing you the way back to Bir Mourad Rais. Both areas are important for their transport stations. Les Fusilles is a transport hub which has a bus station, a taxi station, a streetcar station, and a cableway station. Bir Mourad Rais has an important bus station which services most of the upper parts of Algiers and it's not very far from La Côte where you can catch a bus to the city of Blida. Enjoy :-)
