Aracena in Huelva (Andalucía) is a perfect day trip.
We visited this beautiful Andalucian whitewashed town which hosts a 13th century medieval castle, a natural park perfect for hiking, birdwatching, photography or a picnic, and one of the largest mineral caves, which was the first one to be opened to the public in Spain back in 1914, called Gruta de las Maravillas.
The highlight of the trip definitely was the amazing caves. 100 % recommended.

Hirmes | Almería-Andalucía-España | Localidad española perteneciente al municipio de Berja en 4K
Hirmes es una localidad y pedanía española del municipio de Berja. Pertenecía al municipio de Benínar, que fue devorado por las aguas del pantano homónimo. Con la desaparición del pueblo y municipio de Benínar pasó a pertenecer a Berja.
Fundado alrededor del Siglo XVII posee un urbanismo y arquitectura de corte alpujarreño, destacando los tejados de launas.
Su iglesia, del Siglo XVIII de una sola nave con tejado de teja árabe a dos aguas es una excelente representante de la arquitectura religiosa alpujarreña.
En su interior posee un interesante viacrucis de tallas en madera policromada. Fue rehabilitada en 2015. Debido a su histórico aislamiento, el pueblo carecía de agua corriente, donde cada vivienda tenía un depósito que los propietarios se encargaban de rellenar. El ayuntamiento de Berja anunció en el 2010 obras para aprovechar el agua de dos fuentes cercanas al pueblo y abastecer de agua corriente a la barriada.

Es una comarca rica en cultura y costumbres y mi abuelo paterno nació en uno de estos pueblo. donde yo veraneaba en mi infancia y hoy os quiero enseñar el valle del Andarax que comprende 4 pueblos que son un lugar especial para mí y con mucha historia y cosas para conocer! te lo cuento todo en el vídeo!
