Dénia is a historical coastal city in the province of Alicante, Spain, on the Costa Blanca halfway between Alicante and Valencia.
Denia's historical heritage has been influenced by Iberian, Greek, Roman, Islamic, Napoleonic and Christian civilizations.
Port de Dénia
The town has one of the most important ports and marinas in the region with a large fishing fleet and ferry connections to Ibiza and Majorca.
Castle of Dénia
It was built in the 11th and 12th century and offers views around the sea, the city and the surrounding area. Located in the castle is the Palau del Governador and its corresponding museum.
Dénia beaches
Dénia has one of the longest beaches of the Costa Blanca, No less than 18 km long! Of this, 14 km comprise sandy beaches in northern direction and 4 km of rocky coast (Las Rotas) in the south.

What is the difference between the Costa Blanca and, for example, the Costa Dorada?
It is believed that the Costa Blanca is a little more democratic, a little cheaper, a little noisier and more free. This 200-kilometer zone along the coast is very popular with tourists from the UK, Germany and Scandinavia and from many other countries.
Costa Blanca belongs to Alicante. It starts in Dénia in the north and ends in Pilar de la Horadada in the south. 3 jours pour visiter Alicante : quoi voir et faire? Très jolie ville????- Vlog en Espagne ????????
Au mois de Novembre on est parti pendant 3 jours visiter la ville d'Alicante! On n'avait pas trop d'attentes envers cette ville et quelle belle surprise on a eu en la découvrant! C'est une très jolie ville, avec des arbres aux racines géantes sur des petites places au milieu de la ville, des palmiers partout, un quartier Santa Cruz avec beaucoup de charme, la mer juste à côté, un château pour admirer la ville d'en haut...

Le village de Benissa s'élève à 275 mètres au dessus de la mer, en plein cœur de La Costa Blanca.
Se promener dans la vieille ville est un véritable plaisir ; on y découvre des vestiges culturels ainsi que de nombreux monuments chargés d'histoire comme l'ancienne Lonja de Contratacion (Bourse de l'Embauche) aujourd'hui devenue un Musée Ethnographique ou bien l'ancien Hôpital qui, de nos jours, abrite l'Hôtel de Ville.
Le cœur du village, avec ses façades anciennes, ses ruelles pavées, ses murs centenaires, ses grilles mauresques et ses armoiries héraldiques d'anciennes demeures seigneuriales, nous transporte dans une autre époque.
L'arrière-pays de Benissa offre, quant à lui, un paysage au relief accidenté d'une beauté sans pareille où les falaises côtoient les parcelles en terrasses échelonnées et où la nature et le progrès sont en parfaite harmonie.
le littoral de Benissa, Long de quatre kilomètres est une alternance de « Calas » criques aux eaux transparentes et tranquilles (telles que La Cala la Fustera, Cala Les Bassetes, Cala Pinets ; Cala la Llobella ...), de falaises et de rochers.
