Birmingham Platinum 23 Full Route Visual- Birmingham to Bartley Green

Hello, I went to Birmingham last week - so, you know what that means?! More visuals and journey videos to come, but here's the first bus I caught of the day! The 23 runs from Birmingham, Corporation Street (I started filming at New Street because it's a big loop and that's where I got on) to Bartley Green, Newman University via Colmore Row, Theatreland, Broad Street, Five Ways, Chad Valley, Harborne, Barnes Hill Asda, Woodgate Valley, Moor Street and Woodgate.

The 23 runs every 8 minutes using ADL Enviro 400 MMCs from the Birmingham Central garage.
It's a decent route, but I still prefer the old 22.

Thanks for watching! :)

Bus Ride to the biggest hospital in Birmingham - Bartley Green- Queen Elizabeth Hospital - 4K [PT.2]

Bus Tour in a Double Decker Bus in Birmingham - Bartley Green- Queen Elizabeth Hospital. This series is about enjoying the double decker buses in the United Kingdom. I will be randomly sitting on the buses and enjoying the views from different part in the UK starting with Birmingham. In this episode I rode on the bus from Bartley Green to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (The biggest hospital in Birmingham) Double-decker buses are in common use throughout the United Kingdom and have been favoured over articulated buses by many operators because of the shorter length of double-deckers and larger seating capacity; they also may be safer to operate through narrow streets and round tight corners which is common in the UK.

Recorded - July 2023
Weather Conditions and Temperature - Sunny and Rainy, 22℃

National Express West Midlands 74 Full Route Visual- Dudley to Birmingham via West Bromwich

Here's a full route visual of the 74, which runs from Dudley Bus Station to Birmingham, Priory Queensway via Castlegate, Burnt Tree, Dudley Port, Horseley Heath, Great Bridge, Swan Village, Guns Village, West Bromwich Bus Station, West Bromwich Albion Football Club, Holyhead Road, Handsworth, Gib Heath, Hockley, Jewellery Quarter, St Pauls and Snow Hill Queensway.

This route runs every 5 minutes between Birmingham and West Bromwich, continuing every 10 minutes to Dudley. The 74 uses ADL Enviro 400 E40Ds from the West Bromwich depot.

To say this route in theory only took 1hr10mins, in the blistering heat, a pool of sweat, tonnes of people all around me, and the fact I had a mask on; this felt like I was on it for about 3 hours! It was honestly very draining, but I'm happy to be able to release this visual now!! ;)

Thanks for watching! :)

Bus Ride through Broad Street and City Center | Double Decker Bus Route X10 | Birmingham, England

Buses are back on Birmingham's Broad Street for the first time in 3 years as the tram works have been completed. The trams are expected to run till Edgbaston Metro by the end of June.

Location : Five Ways to Snow Hill via Broad Street
Date : Saturday, 11th May 2022

The iconic Double Decker buses are not limited to London but are found in plenty all over England. Join me on this relaxing bus journey through Birmingham City Centre as we go from Five Ways, along Broad Street, Brindley Place, the Canals, Library, Great Charles Queensway and Snow Hill .

Bus Stops on the Route
00:00 Introduction
00:40 Edbaston Metro
02:20 Five Ways Metro
03:10 Sheepcote Street
04:30 Brindley Place
05:30 Centenary Square & Library Metro
08:00 Great Charles' Queensway
08:30 Birmingham Snow Hill
10:45 Snow Hill Queensway

Public transport will return to Birmingham's golden mile in time for summer following the installation of new bus stops in the city centre. Buses will once again be able to serve the busy Broad Street and Brindleyplace following final infrastructure tests, Metro bosses have confirmed.

Those travelling will be able to alight at several new stops along Centenary Square and Broad Street which were installed as part of the ongoing construction of the Birmingham Westside Metro extension. Once complete, the project will bring Metro services from Grand Central to Centenary Square, Broad Street, Five Ways and Hagley Road.

When the road fully reopens to public transport, Broad Street will become a red route, with motorists unable to stop to load, unload, park, board or alight at any time. Loading to businesses fronting Broad Street that do not have alternative off-street provision will be from loading facilities on side streets.

Bus services set to return to Broad Street include NX services 9, 10, 12, 12A, 13, 13A, 23, 24, 25, 126, X8 and X10.

National Express West Midlands (NXWM) is a bus operator in the West Midlands that operates services in Birmingham, Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton. It is a subsidiary of National Express.
