Hagia Sophia officially the Hagia Sophia Holy Grand Mosque and formerly the Church of Hagia Sophia, is a Late Antique place of worship in Istanbul, designed by the Greek geometers Isidore of Miletus and Anthemius of Tralles. Built in 537 as the patriarchal cathedral of the imperial capital of Constantinople, it was the largest Christian church of the eastern Roman Empire (the Byzantine Empire) and the Eastern Orthodox Church, except during the Latin Empire from 1204 to 1261, when it became the city's Latin Catholic cathedral. In 1453, after the Fall of Constantinople to the Ottoman Empire, it was converted into a mosque. In 1935, the secular Turkish Republic established it as a museum. In 2020, it controversially re-opened as a mosque.

Adana Turkey Tour | Crazy Street Food Tour 4K
I visited Adana on 21st January 2023, which was just two weeks before the huge earthquake that struck South East Turkey. Adana was the first stop of my ten-day tour across the South East of Türkiye where I also visited Gaziantep, Sanliurfa, Harran and Tarsus Mersin. There are many things to do on a short trip to Adana. I visited the iconic Sabancı Merkez Camii mosque, the 2000-year-old historic stone bridge (Taşköprü), and the medical and dental museum.
The Adana clock tower is in the middle of the main market area and close to the Ulu Cami. It is also surrounded by many restaurants that serve the iconic Adana kebab and liver kebab (çiger kebap), as well as salgam (fermented pickled turnip/ purple carrot juice). I also tried the famous Bici Bici dessert which is made using ice shavings and syrup. Adana city really does have the best kebabs in the whole of Turkey - I have had many Adana kebabs, but this was the most authentic and delicious Adana kebab that I ever had!
We stayed in Adana Saray hotel which was within walking distance of the great clock tower, grand ulu mosque and restaurants.
We ate at the Büyüksaat Ciğrcisi & Kebapçısı İBRAHİM USTA which you can easily find just a few minutes walk away from the clock tower (Büyük saat).

????About Erdemli ????
Erdemli is a town and district of Mersin Province in the Mediterranean region of Turkey. Erdemli is located between the districts of Mezitli (to the east) and Silifke (to the west). In the north, Erdemli is bordered by Karaman Province and in the south by the Mediterranean Sea. The district extends from the Mediterranean coastal plain, the largest agricultural area in Mersin Province, to high in the Taurus Mountains where there is forest, and then a large area (half the land area of the district) is high mountain above the treeline. Erdemli is a quiet rural district where the people are conservative, and is traditionally a stronghold of Turkish nationalist politicians; however some departments of Mersin University are opening branches here which will surely have an effect on the cultural and social life of Erdemli in the future. There is no industry except some hand-weaving of rugs so the local economy depends on agriculture. The coastal plain is covered with citrus fruits, bananas, and various fruits and vegetables grown year-round in open fields or in greenhouses. High meadows in the mountains are planted with grain pulses and fruits such as apples, peaches, and cherries. At these altitudes there are also vineyards, olive groves, and fig trees. This is an attractive forested coastal district, and Erdemli is now attracting investment in infrastructure to develop a tourist industry. The coast is home to the endangered Mediterranean monk seal. The Middle East Technical University in Ankara has an Institute of Marine Sciences graduate school here, which has a biology group that monitors the seals.

만 2살 딸 아이가 바다를 엄청 좋아해서 여름 매 주말엔 시간과 힘이 된다면 아이를 데리고 바다에 가려고 우리 부부는 엄청 노력했던 것 같아요.

after spending so much time in lock down because of corona, we decided to go out and have a little fun. for that we decided to go on beach and have little fun in another city. we went to Mersin city that is located near Mediterranean sea. a big city fun to visit to much historical connection. famous for its food and beaches.
Mersi that an important harbour city at East Mediterranean shore, offers every possible activities to travellers with streets overshadowed by palms, city park, modern hotels, ruins near the city, numberless beaches. Moreover city remembered in history with the name of Saint Paul (he is from Tarsus) and with areas between areas between Alanya and Mersin that was given from Mark Antuanious as a marriage gift to Cleopatra. Mersin is important for Turkey's economy, and Turkey's largest seaport is located there. Mersin's nickname within Turkey is Pearl of the Mediterranean (Turkish: Akdeniz'in İncisi) and the city will host the 2013 Mediterranean Games. Mersin is under the Mediterranean weather influence. In the summer it gets hot, and dry as in the winter in gets warm, and rainy. It gets below freezing about 6 days of a year. Due to high humidty, locals prefer to spend their summer at the villages that has higher elevation, and cooler weather.
Places to Visit;
Mersin Museum has sections organized according to chronological order of archaeological data's. Mersin Atatürk House exhibits items related to the visit of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk to Mersin.
Makam-ı Şerif Mosque and Danyal Prophet Mausoleum (Center): Makamı Şerif Mosque was built in 1857 and at the east of the mosque, there is the mausoleum of Danyal Prophet. Ashabı Kehf Cavern (Tarsus) is 14 kilometers away from Tarsus, close to Ulaş Village. This cavern is mentioned in the Holy Quran, and can be climbed down via 15 - 20 stages. Ulu Mosque is in Tarsus, and was built by Ibrahim bey (Ramazanogulları Principality) on the ruins of St.Pierre Church in 1579. Yalan Dünya Cave, Cennet ve Cehennem, or the Caves of Heaven and Hell, Narlıkuyu Cave are located in the province and worth to see.
