I have been living in Alanya for the past year and it is famous for its stunning beaches, Taurus mountains, and ancient history. Cleopatra beach in Alanya is one of the most famous beaches n Turkey as Queen Cleopatra once swam here.
Take the cable cars up to Alanya Castle which was once the summer residence of Seljuk Sultan Aladdin Keykubad. The Red Tower was also built during the reign of Sultan Aladdin and it is now a national symbol of Alanya. The Alanya shipyard is also nearby and you can buy a combined ticket with the Red Fort Tower.
The Alanya Pirate boat tours are popular with tourists and you can visit many caves and beaches during this tour. You can also see the famous Alanya lighthouse from the seas.
Some popular day trips from Alanya include Manavgat waterfall, Side (where you can try out dune buggies and white water rafting), Koprulu Canyon, and Sapadere Kanyon.
You can find many amazing restaurants cooking up some of the freshest and best produce that grows here in Alanya. One unique restaurant we recommend visiting is called Göl Piknik in the Dimçayi area. This is a fabulous mountainside restaurant with delicious dishes. We chose the sac kavurma, cheesy mushrooms, chips, eggplant, and yogurt salads. In the summer months, you can enjoy your meal outside in canopy’s surrounded by the water and play in the water park. After visiting this restaurant, you can visit the nearby Dimçayi caves, and lakes and enjoy the scenic views.

Number 4 ALANYA TELEFERIK
Alanya Teleferik
On the east side of the beach is the lower station for a cable car that took people up to the castle promontory. The cable car opened in the summer of 2017. The Alanya Teleferik goes up 250 metres on a 900-meter line, and every 19 seconds, one of its 14 gondolas will leave. When you're on board, you'll have amazing views of the Gulf of Antalya, the resort, and the Taurus Mountains, which are further away.
Number 3 KLEOPATRA BEACH
Kleopatra Beach
Alanya's main beach is a long, gentle arc of coarse sand that starts at the western foot of that point. It is washed by low to moderate waves. Kleopatra Beach is wide and only gets a little narrower as you go north. It gives you a clear view of the castle and the dark Taurus Mountains. Along the beach, there are beach clubs with sun loungers, and between the beach and Atatürk Boulevard is a wide promenade with the same views, shaded by swaying palms and separated from the street by a strip of greenery with playgrounds and flowerbeds.
Number 2 RED TOWER (KIZIL KULE)
Red Tower (Kızılkule)
Alanya's symbol is a Seljuk defensive tower from the 1300s. It is called the Red Tower because the top floor and parapet are made of red brick. The base of the Red Tower is an eight-sided shape, and its lower walls are made of marble blocks. This rare piece of defensive architecture from the Middle Ages was built to protect Alanya's harbour and shipyard. For hundreds of years, it was the first thing people saw when they came to the city.

Alanya Castle
The steep peninsula of the city is surrounded on three sides by the Mediterranean Sea. On top of the peninsula is a fortified castle from the 13th century that is surrounded by 6.5 km of walls. This rocky mass makes a natural defence, and the castle we see today was built on top of Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine walls. There are a total of 83 towers and 140 towers in the walls, and many of the original 1,200 cisterns are still in use. Alanya Castle is a huge archaeological site that can be explored for hours.

Alanya, formerly Alaiye, is a beach resort city and a district of Antalya Province on the southern coast of Turkey, in the country's Mediterranean Region, 133 kilometres (83 mi) east of the city of Antalya. As of Turkey's 2010 census, the city had a population of 98,627, while the district that includes the city and its built-up region had an area of 1,598.51 km2 and 248,286 inhabitants.
Because of its natural strategic position on a small peninsula into the Mediterranean Sea below the Taurus Mountains, Alanya has been a local stronghold for many Mediterranean-based empires, including the Ptolemaic, Seleucid, Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman Empires. Alanya's greatest political importance came in the Middle Ages, with the Seljuk Sultanate of Rûm under the rule of Alaeddin Kayqubad I, from whom the city derives its name. His building campaign resulted in many of the city's landmarks, such as the Kızıl Kule (Red Tower), Tersane (Shipyard), and Alanya Castle.
The Mediterranean climate, natural attractions, and historic heritage make Alanya a popular destination for tourism, and responsible for nine percent of Turkey's tourism sector and thirty percent of foreign purchases of real estate in Turkey. Tourism has risen since 1958 to become the dominant industry in the city, resulting in a corresponding increase in city population. Warm-weather sporting events and cultural festivals take place annually in Alanya. In 2014 Mayor Adem Murat Yücel, of the Nationalist Movement Party unseated Hasan Sipahioğlu, of the Justice and Development Party, who had previously led the city since 1999. Adem Murat Yücel continues his duty as the Mayor of Alanya Municipality.

Alanya, formerly Alaiye, is a beach resort city and a district of Antalya Province on the southern coast of Turkey, in the country's Mediterranean Region, 133 kilometres (83 mi) east of the city of Antalya. As of Turkey's 2010 census, the city had a population of 98,627, while the district that includes the city and its built-up region had an area of 1,598.51 km2 and 248,286 inhabitants.
Because of its natural strategic position on a small peninsula into the Mediterranean Sea below the Taurus Mountains, Alanya has been a local stronghold for many Mediterranean-based empires, including the Ptolemaic, Seleucid, Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman Empires. Alanya's greatest political importance came in the Middle Ages, with the Seljuk Sultanate of Rûm under the rule of Alaeddin Kayqubad I, from whom the city derives its name. His building campaign resulted in many of the city's landmarks, such as the Kızıl Kule (Red Tower), Tersane (Shipyard), and Alanya Castle.
The Mediterranean climate, natural attractions, and historic heritage make Alanya a popular destination for tourism, and responsible for nine percent of Turkey's tourism sector and thirty percent of foreign purchases of real estate in Turkey. Tourism has risen since 1958 to become the dominant industry in the city, resulting in a corresponding increase in city population. Warm-weather sporting events and cultural festivals take place annually in Alanya. In 2014 Mayor Adem Murat Yücel, of the Nationalist Movement Party unseated Hasan Sipahioğlu, of the Justice and Development Party, who had previously led the city since 1999. Adem Murat Yücel continues his duty as the Mayor of Alanya Municipality.

Unser Hotel ist ein im Sommer 2008 eröffneter und im 2012 durch einen Neubau erweiterter, ansprechender, familienfreundlicher und komfortabler sechsstöckiger Hotelkomplex der gehobenen Mittelklasse mit stillvollem Ambiente, bestehend aus 4 Blocks.
Das bei Stammgästen sehr beliebte Resort verfügt über einem Swimmingpoolbereich mit Sonnenterassen (angeboten werden hierbei Poolterassen, Holz-Sonnenterassen, Liegewiesen) die 2 Pools (640 m² und 340 m²) 1 Kinderschwimmbecken (100 m²), 3 Wasserrutschen (std.weise)mit Auffangbecken (80m²), die bequemen, geflochteten Liegen wirken sehr einladend. (Liegen, Schirme inkl., Strandtücher sind inkl, Strandtücher sind gegen Kaution im SPA-Hamam Bereich erhältlich).
Die überdachte Poolbar und der dahinter liegende Snackbereich lädt zum Verweilen und zum Schmausen ein. In der Anlage befindet sich auch eine Gardenbar und unser Barbeque Restaurant.
Für die Kinder steht ausserdem ein seperater Kinderpool mit der dazugehörigen Sonnenterasse und ein schmuckes Holzhaus als Mini-Club zur Verfügung.
Im Stil der 70er Jahre anmutender Lobbybereich mit Rezeption und Lobbybar im A Block beinhaltet u.a. auch verschiedene Sitz- und Fernsehecken, hier ist auch ein zum relaxen verführender SPA-Hamam sowie Disco (2x die Woche) enthalten. Der B Block beherbergt im Erdgeschoss das Hauptrestaurant mit einer schönen Außenterrasse, die oberen Etagen sind den Familien gewidmet. Im C Block besticht der Lobbybereich durch seine Elegance; der Fitnessraum, Konferenzsaal, Kino (z.Zt. ausser Betrieb), Friseur, zahlreiche Aufenthalts- Fernseh- und Spielecken sind dort im Untergeschoss zu finden. Und in unserem D Block gibt es Zimmer mit Ausblick auf das Meer
