Walk through the festive Basque city of Arrasate - Mondragón in Spain. Real video and live sound.
In the Basque Country, St. Thomas' Day is very much loved and celebrated with great enthusiasm. On a special scale, this holiday is celebrated in Mondragon from December 21 to 24. It flows smoothly into Christmas Eve.
All residents of the city are dressed in national costumes. It's the day the Basques dress up as Basques! The little ones are also dressed up. On the streets and squares, residents are entertained by city music and dance groups.
The central element of the holiday is the exhibition of animals: live kids, lambs, piglets, bulls, donkeys, horses, ponies. Residents offer their products: sausages, ham, cider, tinctures, spices, sweets, handmade cosmetics, gem jewelry, cheeses and breads. Products can be tasted before purchase.

Hi guys, around lunch time, we visited this beautiful town called Tolosa. You might noticed the whole town was pretty empty, I suppose that’s because locals are enjoying their siesta. It’s located on the bank of the river Oria, Tolosa is a town with a great historical importance that admires its past, but it is also adapted to the present times. The former capital of Gipuzkoa was an important passage for traders that linked up Navarre with ports of the Bay of Biscay. For centuries it benefited from numerous privileges. From that glorious past Tolosa inherited a valuable historical old quarter marked by buildings and monuments of different styles.
Situada a orillas de río Oria, Tolosa es una villa de gran importancia histórica, que mira con orgullo a su pasado y que, a la vez, ha sabido adecuarse a los nuevos tiempos. La antigua capital de Gipuzkoa fue un lugar de paso importante en la ruta comercial que comunicaba Navarra con los puertos del Cantábrico y, durante siglos, se benefició de numerosos privilegios. De aquel glorioso pasado ha heredado un valioso casco histórico jalonado por edificios y monumentos de diversos estilos.

Autopista AP-1: Vitoria Gasteiz - Arrasate/Mondragón
Recorrido por la Autopista AP-1 (Autopista del Norte) de Vitoria Gasteiz a Arrasate/Mondragón.
La autopista del Norte o AP-1 es una autopista española que tiene su inicio en Echávarri, en las cercanías de Vitoria y termina como autopista única en Éibar (Guipúzcoa), pasando por toda la comarca del Alto Deva. A partir de allí se une con la AP-8 y continúa en dirección este hacia Irún y la frontera con Francia.
Traversée de l'Autoroute AP-1 (Autoroute du Nord) depuis Vitoria jusqu'à Arrasate.
L'autoroute espagnole AP-1 E-05 E-80 ou autoroute du Nord (Autopista del Norte) est une autoroute payante reliant Burgos à Eibar. Il s'agit d'un axe européen majeur permettant de relier le Maroc et le Portugal à la France.
Elle porte le nom d'A-1 de Madrid à Burgos sur 235 km où elle est gratuite, puis celui d'AP-1 jusqu'à Armiñón où elle croise l'AP-68. Cette section est à péage (d'où le P de peaje). Par la suite, cette voie devient l'Autopista del Cantabríco permettant de rejoindre la frontière française via Vitoria-Gasteiz et Saint-Sébastien.
Une nouvelle section payante ouverte depuis juin 2009 entre Vitoria-Gasteiz et Eibar permet la continuité autoroutière et permet de soulager le trafic de l'A-1 /N-I (la section AP-8 - Eibar - Mondragón est déjà ouverte à la circulation).
Elle est gérée par la société d'autoroutes BIDEGI.

La Rambla Barcelona Walk Update: Phase 1 Deescalation | Terraces Open | Spain
Tonight I walked through La Rambla Street from the Columbus Monument close to the sea up to Plaza Cataluña, during the second day of Phase 1 De-escalation in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Notably I saw some terraces of bars and restaurants are already opened, there are runners, walkers and joggers. No tourists I believe, no street artists yet.
La Rambla is a landmark, a famous street in the city of Barcelona, with close to 80 million people stroll through it. From where I started walking, underneath is a metro Station - Drassanes, the next station will be Liceu and Plaza Catalunya. As you walk you’ll find Santa Monica Church, Wax Museum, supermarkets and souvenir booths, outside setting of bars and restaurants, the Gran Teatre Liceu, streets going to other barrios, the Church of Our Lady of Belen, hotels like Hotel 1898, and many more until you get to Plaza Catalunya.
