Dangerous route for people with vertigo, since we go through quite exposed areas and not suitable for people with claustrophobia since they are tunnels, some of them quite long. For this reason its passage is prohibited, and whoever does it, obviously does so under his responsibility.

This point indicates the beginning of the tunnels, from this moment 10 tunnels await us, which more spectacular and little by little we will go into the ravine and we will enjoy views as much or more of vertigo as spectacular.
Special care in the tunnels with the height, many of them are not high enough, so it is easy to hit the head.
After 10 tunnels the end is reached, this last tunnel is the longest by far, so if you plan to do the round trip as is my case, you have to pay attention to this last tunnel since it has a distance of 900m and it can get a bit overwhelming if you go both ways.

This area of Tenerife is very beautiful and has dramatic landscapes. Vertical rocks, a volcano, beautiful pine forest and stunning views from any point!
Volcan de Arafo erupted in 1705, delivering lava which covered 47 square kilometres, and lots of fire-fountaining of molten lava, resulting in the ‘sand’ and volcanic bombs in the vicinity of the cone.
The path from Mirador de La Crucita to the volcano itself is very steep and rocky at times and good hiking gear is essential.

Reporter Johannes Zenglein bucht individuelle Schnorchelkurse, macht Wandertouren und übernachtet in einer der traditionellen Höhlen der Ureinwohner Teneriffas. Welche Unterschiede gibt es zwischen Pauschal- und Individualurlaub, welche Aktivitäten bucht man besser von zu Hause aus? Die Insel „mit den unbegrenzten Möglichkeiten“ ist die Insel der Gegensätze: Während Touristen-Hotspots im Süden die Besuchermassen anziehen, finden Individualreisende in kleinen Bauerndörfern Idylle und Abgeschiedenheit.

⭐ TRAIL DESCRIPTION ⭐
A video tour of the TF-11 trail in Anaga Rural Park. This official trails goes from Cruz del Carmen to Punta del Hidalgo, passing through/near the villages of los Batanes and Bejia, as well as el Moro volcano.
This is the most picturesque trail out of all that start in Cruz del Carmen (TF-10, TF-11, TF-12, Sendero de los Sentidos). If you have a choice out of the three, first do the TF-11, then TF-10. To be honest, TF-12 is rather boring compared to the other two.
Special remark: official park info mentions that the vertical ascent will be 40 meters, which is clearly a mistake. Even in the direction towards the ocean the total vertical ascent is still solid 400 meters of rapid climbs, making this a hard trail.

Tenerife's MUST SEE Hidden Gem | Hiking to Anaga Lighthouse
A 4 hour walk to the Anaga Lighthouse opens up a whole new perspective of Tenerife.
Probably that's why they call it a hidden gem. It is not hidden at all, it is just hard to get to ????
The whole journey starts from a small village, called Chamorga. The road to the lighthouse is quite challenging and takes around 2 and a half hour. From there we turned back but there is another road which goes down to the beach and a more easier road which brings back to Chamroga.
So, next time you come to Tenerife, take the time and visit this stunning place ????

The beach Playa de la Nea is located in the relatively unknown holiday resort Radazul, approx. 10 km south-west of the capital Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Playa de la Nea opened in 2010 after two years of thorough renovation. A lovely park with a large playground and a new breakwater in the water were among the new features.
The beach is covered with coarse lava sand mixed with rocks in some places. The water deepens quite abruptly and despite the breakwater, there are often waves.
