Here I need to apologize for not being able to reach the island, the path is getting extremely slippery when getting close to the island and the water was constantly pushed onto the path. I really wanted to reach it, but sadly I had to give up.
Lekeitio (Spanish: Lequeitio) is a town and municipality located in the province of Biscay, in the Spanish Autonomous Community of Basque Country, 53 km (33 mi) northeast from Bilbao. The municipality has 7,293 inhabitants (2005) and is one of the most important fishing ports of the Basque coast. Tourism has an important role during the summer seasons, when the town is a resort with one beach called Isunza and the nearby Carraspio beach in the town of Mendexa.

When you come to visit the Basque Country, you have to make a mandatory stop in Mundaka, a very small but a world famous village for the surfing community. Here you can find the greatest left wave in Europe and it has been on numerous occasions the host of the world championship. So if you come to the Basque Country, Mundaka is a must!
Mundaka is a town that does not reach the 2,000 inhabitants but has all the charm of Basque fishing villages. With its church, its pelota court, the port. That is a village that goes unnoticed on the map, if it were not for these waves. Mundaka is world famous for surfing. It’s proud of having the greatest left wave in Europe, which each year attracts thousands of surfers from all continents. World championships have been hosted here, and these waters have been a witness of legendary duels by the greatest surfers in history.
As I have come to Mundaka, I decided to emulate these gods of water and throw myself to surf. Well, if we consider that today there are no waves and I can’t surf, it's fine for me take a ride on paddle surfing by the Urdaibai estuary. In addition to huge waves, Mundaka also has Urdaibai, an estuary formed by the river Oca meeting with the Bay of Biscay, with such ecological richness that in 1984 is was declared by the UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve. And, as you are seeing today, you can enjoy this natural wonder practicing paddle surfing.

Tiny Tour | EA Spain | A quiet little fishing town from 16th century 2019 Autumn
EA (same in Basque) is a municipality and town on the northeast coast of the province of Biscay , Basque Country ( Spain ), 50 km from Bilbao , with 836 inhabitants. The town has a beach and a port that are overflowing in summer, although in winter they’re nearly empty. The river reaches the sea, leaving it almost without water when there is low tide.

MEZQUETILLAS Recorriendo Soria
Recorriendo Soria te ofrece este reportaje de mi visita al bonito pueblo de Mezquetillas, en este vídeo podrás conocer esta localidad perteneciente al Ayuntamiento de Alcubilla de la Peñas. Se cree que el nombre del pueblo de Mezquetillas se debe a que su iglesia pudo ser una antigua mezquita musulmana. Mezquetillas presenta una buena imagen de conservación y restauración de muchas de sus edificaciones, si bien, me llamó la atención su iglesia, con sus muros construidos con estrechos sillares colocados en tizón desde la base.

Sin embargo, también suponen un retraso en el calendario previsto.

The Cathedral of Santa María de Gerona is located at the highest point in the city; It has the widest Gothic nave in the world, with a total width of 22.98 meters. Its construction began in the 11th century in the Romanesque style, continuing in the 13th century with the Gothic, preserving only the Romanesque cloister from the 12th century and the tower from the same period dating from 1040; it was finished in the 18th century. It is an Asset of Cultural Interest.
Since the beginning of Christianity throughout this area, the city of Gerona was the seat of a bishopric that settled in the church of Santa María, running at the same time the sanctuary of the martyr deacon San Félix; this sanctuary had been built on the tomb of said martyr, near the city wall. This small church of San Félix received Christian worship to replace that of Santa María when the Arabs appropriated it to turn it into a major mosque, in 717. Later, in 785, Gerona was conquered by the Franks, then under the authority of Charlemagne. In 882 the first community of canons was formed and in 908 the church was consecrated again.
There is news of the evolution of the cathedral and its different stages of construction from the year 1015, when it was in a lamentable and dilapidated state. Bishop Pedro Roger (son of Roger II of Cominges, Count of Carcassonne), and brother of Ermesenda de Carcassonne, Countess of Barcelona and Gerona, was in charge of carrying out the important repairs on the walls and wooden roofs. To meet these expenses, he sold the church of San Daniel to his brother-in-law, the Count of Barcelona Ramón Borrell, for which he received 100 ounces of gold. Four years later, in 1019, the building was generously endowed, with which the works of a cloister and its dependencies could begin, expanding in 1031 and 1064, always in the Romanesque style.
To this end, in 1292, the treasurer Guillén Jofré made a donation of 10,000 Catalan salaries, but it was not until 1312 that the project was formalized. The change consisted in the extension of the head with ambulatory and nine chapels commissioned to Enrique de Narbona. Upon his death, the works continued under the direction of Jaime Faverán. The architects Guillermo Cors, Francisco Saplana and Pedro Sacoma followed who finished the head in 1347. Once this space was completed, the architect Guillermo Monry continued to expand the section of the choir immediately to the presbytery, completing this work in 1368. At this point It was necessary to unite the new part with the Romanesque plan by means of a transverse nave that would act as a transept.
The original idea was to build it in three ships. The proposal to continue it with a single warehouse led to the suspension of the works and an intermittent discussion between managers and technicians that lasted fifty years. The cathedral convened in 1417 a meeting of master builders and experts; After hearing their opinion, although it was mostly favorable to the three ships, it was decided to continue the construction in a single ship. This would have a height of 34 meters, which would make it a unique monument in the history of world Gothic architecture.
The master of the cathedral, Guillermo Bofill, took charge of the new construction, imposing a reasoned criterion regarding the technique to be followed. This is how the huge nave was built, measuring 50 m long by 23 m wide and 34 m high. The master Bofill did not see the work completed as the last section was built as early as the sixteenth century, by master José Ferrer. In 1604 the Romanesque frontispiece that was still preserved was demolished.

La ville se distingue par son imposante basilique du Pilar. Saragosse est une ville jalonnée de monuments dont les rues portent l'empreinte de quatre civilisations : la romaine, la musulmane, la juive et la chrétienne. ⛪️????????????
A 1 heure de route de Saragosse se trouve un paysage lunaire digne des meilleurs westerns, un Grand Canyon, mais en Espagne ! ????
Les Bardenas Reales se situent dans le nord de l’Espagne, a seulement 70km des Pyrénées. Il s’agit d’un espace naturel vaste de 42.000 hectares qui nous à scotchés. ????
Apres avoir passé un moment hors du temps dans le désert nous prenons la route de Pampelune capitale de la Navarre. Elle est surtout connue pour sa course de taureaux, lors des fêtes de San Fermín en juillet. ????
