Barcelona! After a few days in the Spanish capital, we headed over to Catalunya to see what this popular seaside city has to offer. We ended up discovering an eclectic mix of funky architecture, distinct neighbourhoods, and stretches of golden beaches. It was vibrant, it was stylish, and it was addicting. Here's a look at what we got up to during our visit to this world class city.

This week we are exploring another Spanish city. We are in Barcelona and this video is going to highlight 25 things to do here.
It is kind of hard to believe our time in Barcelona has expired. So final thoughts.
Well, it was a really fun city to visit. Great architecture, really nice beaches. It is very lively especially at night. The only downfall is that we were here in the middle of summer so it was super hot and super crowded and sometimes that made it a little bit difficult to enjoy. Especially at midday or in the mid-afternoon. So keep that in mind. Maybe consider visiting in the springtime, fall, winter.
Well, so what did you think of the city?
It is definitely a fun city. We had a lot of fun going to the beaches. One thing that is really different about this city compared to some other European cities though is that it is really spread out. In order for us to visit all of these different attractions we had to chunk them together into groups to visit them day by day. Overall, it was a decent city. It didn't quite click with me the same way that Madrid did. But that is just personal preference I suppose.
And that is a wrap for Barcelona! Our 5 days in the city flew by, and while this guide didn't cover everything, we hope we were able to give you a feel of what this fun seaside city has to offer. 10 Things to do in Santiago de Compostela
Santiago de Compostela is not just the final point of the Camino de Santiago, it is a fantastic place to explore, wandering around its alleys and stone-paved streets. As some Galicians say, Santiago is not a city, it is a 'big village'. The city population is just around the 100,000 mark but with nearly 50,000 students settling there for the academic year and thousands of pilgrims walking into town every year.
I think Santiago is a great city but I'm obviously biased. I lived in Santiago (or 'Compostela') for four years while studying at the city's University (one of the oldest in the world by the way.
10 things to do in Santiago de Compostela:
1-Cathedral
If you have walked all the way to Santiago de Compostela, your first stop is likely to be the Praza do Obradoiro with its imposing Cathedral, where the remains of Saint James are (allegedly) buried. The cathedral is Santiago's most famous building with a Romanesque structure and later Gothic and Baroque elements. At the Cathedral, check out the Pórtico da Gloria (the original Romanesque porch entrance by Mestre Mateo), the Botafumeiro (its giant thurible) and, if you are not scared of heights, ask to walk up to the Cathedral's rooftop to enjoy fantastic panoramic views of Santiago.
2-The Old Town
Santiago is divided in two main districts: the Old Town (Zona Vella) and the New Town (Zona Nova).
The Old Town with is winding granite streets, arches, squares and monuments has been an UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985. Here you will find not only Romanesque and baroque churches, museums and some of the oldest University buildings but also many cosy cafes, traditional and contemporary restaurants, interesting shops and some of the best nightlife too!
3-Alameda Park
Take a breather at the Alameda, Santiago's most emblematic green space. Go for a stroll along the Paseo da Ferradura, get a nice tree-framed view of the Cathedral, sit by the statue of writer Valle Inclán or take a picture with the statue of 'As Marías', the two Fandiño sisters dressed in their colourful outfits. The sisters used to go for a walk in the Alameda every day at 2 o'clock on the dot. The Alameda park is also central point to many celebrations in Santiago's busy festival calendar.
4-'De Viños' -- Wine trail
Rúa do Franco goes all the way to the Obradoiro Square and takes its name after the French pilgrims that used to follow this street to get to the Cathedral. With adjacent Raíña, this is the most famous street to go out for a few drinks with friends. Many bars and restaurants along the Franco display their octopus, shellfish and other Galician delicacies on their windows (vegetarians beware!) and most offer a free bite with each drink: croquettes, tortilla or even tiger filet (not really tiger meat, by the way).
5-Museo das Peregrinacións
After walking to Santiago as a pilgrim, you should probably visit this museum, dedicated to the pilgrimage.
6-San Domingos de Bonaval Park
'Bonaval' for short, is another popular park in Santiago de Compostela. Bonaval sits on the grounds of a Dominican convent's old cemetery and has been re-invented into a secluded public green space by Portuguese architect Álvaro Siza. Next to Bonaval you'll find two of Santiago's best museums: the CGAC (Galician Contemporary Art Centre) in a modern building also by Siza and the Museum of the Galician People (Museo do Pobo Galego) in the former convent.
7-Mercado de Abastos
9-Festas
Festas da Ascensión in May and Festas do Apóstolo in July are the main celebrations in Santiago, with outdoor concerts and many other events taking place, some of them free of charge. However, there are many more festivals in and around the different neighbourhoods in Santiago.
10-Try octopus
You can't leave Santiago (or Galicia) without trying the land's most iconic dish: octopus. The Galicians call it octopus fair style ('pulpo á feira') as it used to be a dish eaten on market day; while Spaniards like to call it octopus Galician style.

Cuenca en 1 día, desde Madrid | Mejores ciudades para visitar en España
Al visitar España, una de las ciudades que no puede faltar es Cuenca. Ubicada en la Comunidad Autónoma de Castilla-La Mancha, a menos de 2 horas de Madrid la capital española, aprovechamos para visitar y compartir contigo este encantador lugar.
Considerada como una de las joyas ocultas de España, lo primero que sorprende al llegar, es encontrarla en la cima de una montaña, con escarpados acantilados que bordean la ciudad que se adentran en los desfiladeros de los ríos Júcar y Huécar.
En este vídeo te mostraremos las principales atracciones de esta hermosa ciudad, comenzando por las Casas Colgadas, sin dudas el símbolo de Cuenca, suspendidas de escarpados acantilados sobre el río Huécar, que parecen flotar en el aire. Para obtener las fotos más espectaculares, es mejor cruzar la pasarela de otro ícono de la ciudad: el puente San Pablo, donde merece la pena dominar el miedo a las alturas y disfrutar de sus impresionantes vistas.
Adentrándonos en las empedradas callejuelas estrechas, te mostraremos otro de los imprescindibles que ver en Cuenca, los rascacielos del barrio de San Martín, edificios que fueron considerados durante la Edad Media como los edificios más altos de Europa.
Ubicadas en el corazón del casco antiguo o centro de la parte alta de la ciudad, nos encontramos la Catedral y la Plaza Mayor de la ciudad, rodeadas de una atmósfera muy amigable y agradable.
En busca de más fantásticas vistas, llegamos a la Torre de Mangana, uno de los monumentos más notables de la ciudad y desde donde apreciamos una de mis vistas favoritas, con una perfecta armonía entre la naturaleza y la ciudad.
Por último, quisimos aprovechar la oportunidad para visitar el Nacimiento del Cuervo, considerado uno de los lugares más extraordinarios de Castilla-La Mancha por su singular encantador paisaje.

I traveled to Spain and stayed at a futuristic capsule hotel that looks like a Star Wars spaceship and visited the oldest restaurant in the world.
The name of the capsule hotel is Art Seven Hostel, and you can stay with your partner because it has a large size bed.
The Restaurant Botin, the world's oldest restaurant with a history of about 300 years, is recommended because the specialty roast suckling pig was really delicious (though it's expensive). It is better to make a reservation in advance.

* The boy at the reception told me that their hostel is unique, like a spaceship from the movie Star Wars.
* So I made a joke to him that I am your father, but he ignored me.
* The lighting in the room is colorful and looks like a disco.
* Even though it's a capsule hotel, it was comfortable with a large size bed for two people.
* I didn't hear anyone else snoring, but a couple was doing something and my capsule was shaking a little.
* It was a little scary walking through the dark corridors at night.
* The oldest restaurant in the world, the food tasted good but the interior was very small.
