We visit Nerja Spain. We've been to this stunning holiday destination before but had to return to see the stunning scenery from the Balcon De Europa (balcony of europe) looking out at the beach and the sea.
A holiday on the Costa Del Sol is always welcome but when you get to visit Nerja and wander the little shopping streets, the beach, the balcon de europa and the little cafes, bars and restaurants it makes it even better!
A trip to Nerja must be on any holidaymakers list when visiting the Costa Del Sol in Spain. It really is a stunning place and a must see beach. It not only has must-visit beaches with crystal clear waters but impressive attractions like Balcón de Europa viewpoint and the Nerja Caves
Nerja is mainly known for its natural beauty, and walking along the Rio Chillar is one of the best opportunities to soak up the gorgeous nature of Spain's southern coast. Admire the magnificent rock walls, wade through the crystal clear water and dip in one of the pools as a reward for your hike.
Nerja is located on the eastern edge of the Costa del Sol, 68.7 km from Malaga Airport. It takes around 45 minutes to drive from Malaga Airport to Nerja via the A-7 toll-free motorway.
With over 700 meters of sandy beach, a boardwalk and a variety of services, Burriana is the most popular beach in Nerja. The beach is well filled in the summer by residents and tourists. On the beautiful beach promenade, you will find restaurants, bars, cafes and shops for a carefree stay.
Surrounded by lush vegetation, clear waters and fine golden sand, Carabeillo beach is quite a sight and should be high on any visitors to Nerja's list. For facilities and refreshments, you can walk up to a kiosk, bars and restaurants as well as take a short walk to Burriana beach.
Situated around 50 kilometres east of Málaga, in the Axarquía area, Nerja sits between the peaks of the Sierra Almijara and the Mediterranean Sea.

Algarrobo Costa Spain Charming and Quaint Town Summer 2022 July Costa del Sol | Axarquía | Málaga 4K
The village Algarrobo is divided into two parts, one inland and the other coastal, located 3 km away from each other. The inland village is usually referred to as Algarrobo Pueblo and is where the town hall is located. The coastal town is called Algarrobo Costa. It is named after the algarrobo (carob) tree, with long, dark (when ripe) pods; carob is used as a sweetener.
The coastal part of the town is more modern than its inland partner, and boasts two magnificent beaches joined by a bridge and a seafront promenade.
Algarobo Costa was once a fishing port, but is now a busy tourist resort, with lots of apartment blocks and hotels.
There are two other municipal districts further east along the coast, called Lagos and Mezquitilla.

Algarrobo Costa Spain Relaxing Town Update October 2022 Costa del Sol | Axarquía | Málaga [4K]
Algarrobo Costa is a town belonging to the municipality of Algarrobo, in the province of Málaga, Andalucía, Spain. It is located on the coast of the municipal area. It is a settlement that has been formed recently due to the tourism boom in the municipality, since its central nucleus is in the interior of the same one. It is made up of numerous urbanizations arranged around the Algarrobo beach.
The town was once a fishing port, but is now a busy tourist center, with lots of apartment blocks and hotels. It's two neighbors of Lagos and Mezquitilla are still both fairly unspoilt villages, untouched by tourism.
The municipality of Algarrobo consists of four urbanisations: Algarroba Costa, Lagos, Mezquitilla and Algarrobo Pueblo, located inland. The area sits within the region of the Axarquia in Andalusia, situated to the east of the Velez River.
The area is blessed with a wonderful coastline, combined with an inland countryside landscape of outstanding natural beauty. The Algarrobo-Sayalonga River flows down from the stunning Sierra Almijara and the region dates back to the Bronze Age.
Algarrobo Costa suits those who wish to combine beach and countryside. The region provides a wonderful base for walking holidays and to explore the surrounding Costa Tropical and Costa del Sol.

Algarrobo Spain Feb 10 and 11, 2023
A night in a authentic Spanish town with not alot od tourists. The streets were narrow leading up into the hills. We drove those streets the next day on our way out and it really became a maze of these narrow streets. When we asked some girls we saw if there was a grocery store in the town and they both said in this town and then told us of 2 stores. One you see in a plaza and about 3 people wer all that could shop at 1 time. A turkey not wrapped in a display case and right beside veggies. The other was on the right at a traffic light a touch bigger, but not much. The kids came out after 11 PM to play ball in the park across from where we were staying. A real taste of Spain!

With modern shops, restaurants and bars bordering one side of the central orange tree-lined promenade and exclusive yachts flanking the other, Muelle Uno is not your average shopping complex. The waterfront open-air mall offers a contemporary shopping and dining experience by the sea, with stunning views of La Alcazaba to remind you of the city's Moorish past.
As the name suggests, the redeveloped Muelle Uno area ('Quay One' in English) is located in Málaga Port. After 13 years of planning and negotiations, an 80-million-euro budget, and with over 400 new jobs created, Muelle Uno was officially inaugurated at the end of November 2011.
The complex boasts an impressive array of shops, with over 30 outlets selling everything from clothes, shoes and accessories, to cosmetics, handmade jewellery and home furnishings. Offering far from the usual high street shops, Muelle Uno is the place to go if you're looking for something a little different, such as the modern and original home decorations at Mandragora or the elegant fashions at Etxart & Panno. Many well-known brands are represented, such as Helly Hansen at Nautilus and Lacoste, as well as high street names Deichmann, Kiko and Primo. Additionally, and more practically, the complex has an optician (handy for visiting cruise passengers who need an emergency prescription) and several phone shops.
For those who love markets, the monthly zoco at Muelle Uno, which takes place on the second Sunday of every month, has nearly 100 stalls selling handmade crafts and jewellery, vintage and children's clothing, home decorations, organic foods and locally-produced olive oil and meats.

Founded by the Phoenicians in the 8th century B.C. Málaga is one of the oldest cities in Europe. It was a first federated municipality, and then under the Latin law of the Roman Empire and a prosperous Andalusian medina four times the capital of its own kingdom, which was incorporated into the Crown of Castile in 1487.
In the 19th century, Málaga experienced an incredible industrial and revolutionary activity that made it ranked as the fisrt industrial city in Spain and made her worthy of the titles Siempre denodada (Always bold) and La primera en el peligro de la libertad (The first in danger of freedom). The protagonist of the explosion of the tourist boom of the 1960s and 1970s, it is now an outstanding entertainment, economic, cultural & communications hub on the Mediterranean coast.
Málaga has been declared a Historic Site due to the set of historical elements found in the same city: Phoenicians, Punics, Romans and Arabs are concentrated in the historic center of the city - Roman Theater, the Alcazaba, the Cathedral, among many other cutural elements found both outdoors and underground.
The city is an important tourist destination, dubbed as the capital of the Costa del Sol. An estimate of 6 million tourists visit the city each year. Tourists usually visit the birthplace of Pablo Picasso and the Museo Picasso Málaga, the Carmen Thyssen Museum, the old town and the beaches to name a few.
