Rafting on Akhuryan river, Shirak Province, Armenia
Akhuryan river originates in Armenia and flows from Lake Arpi, along the closed border with Turkey, forming a part of the geographic border between the two states, then flows into the Aras River.
Akhurian drains an area of about 9,500 square km (3,700 sq mi) and has total length of 186 kilometres (116 mi).

Come join me on a 4 hours bike ride from Gyumri to Amasia village. Precisly, 30km from Gyumri.
Amasia, previously known as Hamasia, is a village in the Amasia Municipality of the Shirak Province of Armenia.
It is located on the right bank of the Akhuryan River.
I took the train from Sasuntsi Metro Station to Gyumri.
Upon arrival my ride started.
