While I love living in the Cayman Islands, no place in the world is perfect. In this video I share some of the less glamorous parts to living on this tropical island. Things that you wouldn't find in a glossy travel magazine. Of course, I am well aware that these are very minor, 'first world problems.' But they are things you should brace yourself for that not everyone would know when considering Grand Cayman or it's Caribbean sister islands as their future home. Now please excuse me whilst I soothe my island fever with a Cayman sunset.

There's absolutely nothing much better than a couple of days in the Caribbean to eliminate the winter blues, though one watch out into the crystal clear water as well as any cares you might have will be washed away regardless of the period. I just recently had the possibility to go to the Cayman Islands as well as I will certainly tell you, it is heaven.
Located just listed below Cuba, there are three islands that compose the Cayman Islands, consisting of Cayman Brac, Little Cayman, and naturally, Grand Cayman. I invested my time on Grand Cayman, and of course, I'm ready to go back. However, before I go, I wished to share a few of the important things I gained from my very first visit to the Cayman Islands.

If you’re a bit more on the adventurous side, check out activities like diving the wreck of the Kittiwake. Grand Cayman is famous as a scuba diving destination and the wreck of the USS Kittiwake is one of the top spots to dive. Or descend into the 1000-year-old Crystal Caves and see the majestic limestone rock formations.
If you lean toward less adventurous outdoor activities, try hiking the Majestic Trail. The humidity gets pretty high and you’ll need to lather on some insect repellant to keep the bugs away but it’s a great spot to see the natural beauty of Grand Cayman without too many crowds. Or for an even more leisurely outdoor activity, spend a few hours strolling around George Town.
One of the must-see things to do in Grand Cayman is Seven Mile Beach. The beach, which is really only about five and a half miles long, is considered one of the best beaches in the Caribbean. Snorkel its crystal-clear waters, try stand-up paddleboarding, or enjoy a meal at one of the bars or casual restaurants along the beach.
Whatever kinds of activities you’re into, you’ll find plenty of things to do in Grand Cayman. In this video, we cover all our top recommendations.
