The Costa de Caparica Mini Train
Beach 19, a special beach for nudists and gays. In the southern part of Costa da Kaparika there is a terminus of a mini-train that travels along the coast to the village of Fonte da Telha (June - September), the water here is calmer and warmer, as it is located in a small bay.
The most popular beach is Costa da Caparica. This is a small village along which a huge beach stretches, divided by breakwaters into small beaches, and then turning into a more than 20 km long sand spit, enveloping the peninsula and forming 17 more beaches, to Fonte da Telha beach, which is located in a small bay, and the water here is calmer and a little warmer. For those who want to try surfing, there are many schools that you can sign up for online, or rent anything you need (if you have travel insurance). You can also take a canopy and sunbed and immediately order any soft drinks, near the beach a network of cafes and restaurants, convenient parking and a well-functioning rescue service. Minus of the beach: - this is a frequent wind and possible traffic jams on the way back.

The Fishermen’s Trail, Southwest Portugal - Day 6 - Aljezur to Arrifana
This could have been a shorter re-positioning day, but we extended it to see more beaches, which we were looking forward to making a walk of 11 miles. We had booked breakfast at our Hotel (Vincentina), at 7.30am, and we were not disappointed. It was all beautifully set out for us, with a great choice, of breads, croissants, eggs, juice, coffee etc. The hotel is next door to the Inter March shop which opens at 8.30am, there is a laundrette in the basement car park-if only we had known!!! Leaving at 8.45am, we went back over the bridge passing large information boards about the walk, turned right, then left through the town. On reaching the church we turned left down a road, before passing a well, Fonte das Mentiras which has Islamic origins dating back to the C10th (9.05am). Continuing uphill passing new houses, we had great views inland and over to the coast with some salt pans. Turning right along a main road for about two miles (Monte do Carrical 9.50am), right again along small roads, then a sandy track, we arrived at the unfortunately closed Cafe Taberna do Gabriel with stunning views of Amoreira beach at 11.05am.
Heading south once more, we stopped for lunch at O Ze, before having more breath-taking views from the promontory at Ponta da Atalaia. Spot the fishermen perched high on the edge of the cliffs, an amazing way of fishing-and looked pretty dangerous too. We arrived at some marvellous ruins dating from 1150, which we took our time to explore. Turning left, we headed inland along a dusty track-which seemed hard-going in the afternoon heat. Eventually we were on a road that led to our destination of hotel Vale da Telha, at 3.15pm happy to arrive, and again chilled out in the large-but slightly cool pool.
We went to a local shop to buy lunch for the following day, before going to the nearby Font do Vale restaurant for dinner, which had a great choice of food and football shown too. This was another great day, tough walking in the sand and heat!! We need to leave early-but difficult to do when such superb buffet breakfasts are supplied!!.

Portugal 2017 (: Seeing Aljezur and Vale Del Telha in this video along with the villas. My uncle has done a superb job in renovating his secluded house, I hope the video does it justice.
The video is mainly just about the location of the holiday. The first being my nans incredible villa, then onto my uncles awesome country abode, following this is the Castle in Aljezur which is worth the walk (or drive) for the view, and finally just some of the stuff in Vale Del Telha. The best being the west facing cliffs for the epic sunsets.

Praia de Santa Helena em Santa Cruz (Portugal)
A praia de Santa Helena fica localizada em Santa Cruz, concelho de Torres Vedras em Portugal.
A praia de Santa Helena têm vários atrativos:
- O Penedo do Guincho, um grande rochedo junto à orla costeira com um túnel no meio;
Uma azenha (engenho para moagem de cereais) no passeio marítimo, que se encontra recuperada e que é atualmente o Posto de Turismo, com diversas exposições;
E a Torre de Santa Cruz.
A praia de Santa Helena tem bandeira azul, nadador-salvador, zona concessionada com toldos e espreguiçadeiras, acesso para pessoas com mobilidade reduzida a partir do passeio marítimo, casas de banho com duches, e cafés com esplanadas.
A Norte da Praia de Santa Cruz pode visitar a Praia de Santa Rita e a Sul a praia da Foz do Sizandro

La playa de Santa Helena tiene varios atractivos:
- Penedo do Guincho, una gran roca junto a la costa con un túnel en el medio;
Un molino de agua (molino para moler cereales) en el paseo marítimo, que ha sido recuperado y actualmente es la Oficina de Turismo, con varias exposiciones;
Y la Torre de Santa Cruz.
La playa de Santa Helena cuenta con bandera azul, socorrista, zona de concesión con toldos y tumbonas, acceso para personas con movilidad reducida desde el paseo marítimo, baños con duchas y cafeterías con terraza.
