Best Beach in the Algarve!!
Hello to you travelers, finally I went back home on leave and I could not stop myself from sharing the best parts of the country where I was born. I am very proud of it and this time was time to show you probably the most beautiful place in the Algarve, apart from the cold everything else was amazing.
Its is called Odeceixe a small village that helds one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen. the sun was setting and the colors were just amazing. REMEMBER I have been already to Mauritius, Seychelles and other places that people call paradise and for me to say that this place is much better its because it is really worth it.

Brief description about the city:
The attractive village of ODECEIXE tumbles down a hillside opposite the broad valley of the Odeceixe River, below the winding, tree-lined main coast road. Sleepy out of season, its character changes in summer when it attracts a steady stream of surfers, campervanners and families, lured by a superb beach and a very laidback atmosphere. Everything centres on the single main street and a small square, Largo 1 de Maio, where you’ll find some lively bars, plenty of cafés, a couple of minimarkets, post office, bank and craft shops.
The beach, Praia de Odeceixe, is 4km west of the village, reached down a verdant river valley, the fields either side neatly cultivated with corn. A road-train trundles between village and beach during July and August (approx hourly 10am–5pm), but it’s a lovely walk along the road as well, following the river to a broad, sandy bay framed by low cliffs. It is one of the most sheltered beaches along this stretch of coast, offering superb surfing and relatively safe swimming, especially when the tide is out.

The local market is an open market that offers a variety of highly fresh produce.
The one in the video is close to Continente and they open only on Wednesdays & Fridays from 9 am & they sell at a reasonable price.
You have to also take note of going with cash, personally, I haven't been seeing anyone accepting transfers or making use of a POS. Everyone pays for their items with cash. Make sure to withdraw your money and have it handy before going.
Every district has a local market, ask around the one closest to you. The market days might be different from other local market.

Esta praia nasce associada à foz da ribeira de Aljezur que forma uma modesta zona estuarina de grande beleza natural. Na margem norte da ribeira desenvolve-se amplo campo dunar que avança vale dentro, evoluindo depois para um habitat de sapal, típico destes sistemas, onde ainda se encontram animais como a lontra, a garça-cinzenta ou o colorido guarda-rios.
Duas formas imponentes marcam a paisagem: a norte o recorte negro da arriba talhada em xisto lembra um gigante deitado sobre o mar; a sul, na encosta verdejante do vale, afloram impressionantes formações rochosas, vestígios duma antiga duna agora fossilizada e que alberga plantas únicas no mundo.
O areal é imenso e faz-se praia tanto na frente de mar, onde na maré vazia se formam lagunas muito apetecíveis e seguras para as crianças, como ao longo da ribeira (Amoreira-Rio), usufruindo-se do ambiente fluvial enquadrado pelas cénicas encostas rochosas do vale.

The coast of the Algarve in southern Portugal is a seemingly endless series of some of Europe’s finest beaches.
