In this video, I'm going to be taking you on a road trip to some of the most beautiful and scenic spots in Victoria. While the Great Ocean Road is undoubtedly a magnificent coastal drive, we've decided to take a detour this time to chase a different kind of beauty. Our journey leads us to the captivating eastern region of Victoria, where nature displays its breathtaking autumn palette like a masterpiece.
Our first stop on this colorful adventure is Black Spur Drive, which is a winding road that winds its way through the Yarra Ranges National Park. The drive is absolutely stunning, and you'll be treated to stunning views of the surrounding mountains and forests.
From there, we make our way to the enchanting Gould Memorial Drive. Here, the road is lined with magnificent trees, adorned with fiery autumn hues. You'll find yourself surrounded by panoramic vistas that will leave you breathless. It's a sight that will leave you spellbound, and the perfect spot for those Instagram-worthy photos.
As we continue our journey, we arrive in the charming town of Myrtleford, nestled amidst the Alpine Valleys. This idyllic destination is great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors, where the autumn colors come alive. Imagine strolling through rows of trees, their leaves ablaze with the rich shades of fall. It's a sensory delight you won't want to miss
Finally, there's majestic Mount Buffalo National Park. Prepare to be awe-struck as we ascend to new heights, with its breathtaking alpine landscapes and cascading waterfalls. We'll lace up our hiking boots and embark on a trek that promises unforgettable vistas at every step.

Upwey is a residential suburb in hilly surrounds 34 km south-east of Melbourne and 2 km west of Belgrave.
Until the turn of the nineteenth century Upwey did not have a separate identity. In the middle 1890s the part of the locality was divided into ten-acre blocks as part of the ‘Scoresby’ village settlement scheme, which extended northwards to Ferny Creek. Notwithstanding the Scoresby appellation, Upwey was known as Mast Gully, after several ship masts had been cut from a gully in 1850. (Mast Gully Creek and Mast Gully Road remain.)
In 1897 three sisters, the Tullidges, bought a homestead and named it Upwey, after the English village on the River Wey. They persuaded the Victorian Railways to approve a stopping place near their house, and the name Upwey was given to it. The name was adopted by common usage, the Upwey Church of England being built in 1904 (now in the neighbouring locality of Tecoma). The post office was built in 1911 in a newly constructed store.
