In our next video, we will hit on Trail of Tears, Natchez Trace, 360 Grille, Superhero Chef's, Spring park, Tom's Wall ( very interesting story and landmark ), and the Alabama Hall of Fame museum.

Three Days to See -- Helen Keller Birthplace Tour, Tuscumbia, Alabama
Helen Adams Keller (June 27, 1880 – June 1, 1968) was an American author, disability rights advocate, political activist and lecturer.
Born in West Tuscumbia, Alabama, Helen lost her sight and her hearing after a bout of illness when she was 19 months old. She then communicated primarily using home signs until the age of seven, when she met her teacher and life-long companion Anne Sullivan (April 14, 1866 – October 20, 1936). Sullivan taught Keller language, including reading and writing.
In her famous essay Three Days to See, Helen wrote of her desire to gaze at her teacher Anne if she were able to see for three days -- On the first day, I should want to see the people whose kindness and gentleness and companionship have made my life worth living. First I should like to gaze long upon the face of my dear teacher, Mrs. Anne Sullivan Macy, who came to me when I was a child and opened the outer world to me. I should want not merely to see the outline of her face, so that I could cherish it in my memory, but to study that face and find in it the living evidence of the sympathetic tenderness and patience with which she accomplished the difficult task of my education. I should like to see in her eyes that strength of character which has enabled her to stand firm in the face of difficulties, and that compassion for all humanity which she has revealed to me so often.
After an education at both specialist and mainstream schools, Keller attended Radcliffe College of Harvard University and became the first deaf-blind person to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in the United States.
Keller worked for the American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) from 1924 until 1968. During this time, she toured the United States and traveled to 35 countries around the globe advocating for those with vision loss.
Keller was also a prolific author, writing 14 books and hundreds of speeches and essays.
Keller's autobiography, The Story of My Life (1903), publicized her education and life. It was adapted as a play by William Gibson, and this was also adapted as a film under the same title, The Miracle Worker.
Keller died in her sleep on June 1, 1968, at her home, in Easton, Connecticut. Her ashes were buried at the Washington National Cathedral next to her teacher Anne Sullivan, and Polly Thomson who first worked as a secretary and eventually became a constant companion to Keller after Anne passed away.
