Conakry Grand Mosque in Conakry, Guinea

The Conakry Grand Mosque is a mosque in Conakry located north of the Conakry Botanical Garden. The mosque was built by Sékou Touré with funding from King Fahd of Saudi Arabia. It is the largest mosque in West Africa and the fifth in the world. Its four minarets, covered in green tiles (the color of Islam) can be seen from far away. Women must cover themselves from head to foot before they can enter. The mosque has 2,500 places on the upper level for women and 10,000 below for men. The gardens of the mosque contain the Camayanne Mausoleum, including Samouri Touré, Sékou Touré and Alpha Yaya.

On 28 September 2009 a demonstration against the military junta at a city stadium was violently suppressed by security forces, with hundreds of deaths and dozens of injuries. On Friday 2 October the bodies of 508 victims were laid in the esplanade in front of the mosque. A large body of prostitutes were present, and people started throwing stones at them. The police responded with tear gas, which flooded the interior of the mosque.Like us and Join us at Xtreme Collections for more fun and knowledge.

We Broke Up

This is the end. @DearAlyne and I are breaking up.

You, the audience, were the first people to know about our relationship 6 years ago.

You were with us during our lows and highs.

You cheered for us.

That's why you also deserve to know about the end of our relationship.

This is the longest video we've ever made. 13 minutes long.

I hope this helps someone out there with their relationship. I hope they can avoid our mistakes before it's too late.

Until then, Alyne and I will remain good friends. We have zero regrets.
Because...

No growth of the heart is ever a waste.

Love you, Alyne.

Street Food in Senegal!! 🇸🇳 ULTIMATE SENEGALESE FOOD TOUR in Dakar | West African Food!

🇸🇳 Senegal Street Food in Dakar - So excited to be here!

DAKAR, SENEGAL - Welcome to Darkar, the largest and capital city in Senegal, West Africa! Today Pape and I are taking you on an ultimate Senegalese street food tour in Dakar - we’ll be visiting the local market, eating local dishes for lunch, fresh seafood in the afternoon, and finishing this day off with an ultimate grilled lamb Dibiterie feast. Let’s get started!

Thank you to Pape Tatandiaye (Visit Senegal

Marché Kermel ( - We started this tour today in the heart of central Dakar at one of the old markets known as Marché Kermel. It’s a small and manageable market to get a feeling for the ingredients that go into Senegalese food. At lunchtime just outside the market you’ll find a series of street food stalls that set up serving home cooked Senegalese food. You’ll find dishes like Thieboudienne (jollof rice), okra stew, sweet potato leave, mutton curry, and much more. The food is sensational, so much delicious flavors and huge plates of food. I love the “guana” local chili peppers that taste similar to scotch bonnet chilies.

African Renaissance Monument - We then toured the African Renaissance Monument, one of the icons of Senegal and Africa, to symbolize the rebuilding of Africa after colonization, and to never forget the past slavery trade.

La Maree Chez Adji ( - Next up on this ultimate street food tour in Senegal we went to the very Western tip of Africa and restaurant called La Maree Chez Adji to eat fresh lobster and sea urchins.

Dibiterie Le Mboté 1 ( - Finally to finish this day we couldn’t miss a dibiterie, Senegal’s take on grilled lamb. This is something truly spectacular, some of the world’s best grilled lamb. It’s fresh and cooked over a raging fire and served with mustard, hot sauce, and onions. Wow, absolutely stunning!

What a day in Dakar, experiencing incredible Senegalese street food!

Fouta Trekking Adventure in Labe, Guinea

Labé is the main city and administrative capital of the Fouta Djallon region of Guinea. It has a population of about 200000. It is the second largest city in the country after the capital Conakry in term of economic importance. Labé is situated some 450 km northeast of Conakry close to the geographic centre of Guinea.
This mountain range of surrealistic reliefs which height goes between 700 and 1500 meters, is the source of some of the big rivers in Western Africa, as the Gambia, the Bafing (Senegal), the Bakoy, the Koliba, the Kolentè (Grand Scarcies), Kaba (Little Scarcies), or the Konkouré.

In addition Fouta Djalon's oriental hillsides feed several tributaries of the Niger River; and the foothills placed to the south-east (close to the border with Sierra Leone) of this mountainous chain, known as Guinea Highlands shelter the source of the river Niger.

Fouta Djallon with its agreeable climate, majestic landscapes, countless waterfalls, impressive cannons, natural swimming pools for refreshing yourself, some rocky capricious formations, spectacular granite cliffs, it is an indispensable region in a West Africa trip for hiking lovers, since it offers many treks.

Some of the best villages to start visiting the Fouta Djallon region are Mali Yemberem, Labe, Ainguel, Doucki or Dalaba. From theses villages we can make great walks of one day or more, visiting canyons, waterfalls, caves, rivers and traditional villages.

Most Dangerous Tourist Attractions in the World. #tourism #travel #dangerous #attraction

Everybody loves to visit new places. However there a number of locations around the world which will give you nightmares. You will forget your sleep after watching some uncanny attractions. Here are the top 20 dangerous tourist attractions in the world.

1. Mount Huashan

The Plank Walk on China's Mount Hua is considered by many as one of the most dangerous hikes in the world. Hikers walk across a few planks of wood bolted into the side of a 7,000-foot peak to reach a small shrine. While the hikers are harnessed, it is still a terrifying adventure to many who dare. The amazing fact is, this dangerous tourist attraction is considered one of China's five sacred mountains and is one of the most popular tourist attractions and pilgrimage sites for Chinese people.

2. Hiking Trolltunga

This dangerous tourist attraction is Norway's most spectacular hiking destinations. But it is one of the most dangerous and hardest hiking destinations on earth. The estimated trekking time is 7-10 hours. Signs along the trail show the remaining distance to both Trolltunga and back to the trailhead. There are several options for traveling by bus, and every routetakes you via the village of Odda in Hardanger. On this dangerous holiday spot, a 24-year-old Australian girl fell off the Troll's Tongue and died.

3. Devile Pool - Victoria Falls

Devil's Pool is located atop Victoria Falls, one of the largest waterfalls in the world. The pool has long been a top must-explore tourist destination on the travel bucket list of many adventure lovers. Devil's Pool is located in the Zambezi River, along the Zambia-Zimbabwe border. Here, tourists swim dangerously close to the tipping point of the falls, only prevented from falling by a slippery, submerged lip of rock.

4. End Road

This most dangerous tourist destination in Bolivia is known as End Road for all of the reasons you'd guess. Driving up or down this 43-mile switchback is extremely perilous due to fog, landslides, cascades, and cliffs that drop 2,000 feet at every turn. The road hardly gets wider than 10 feet. Multiple crucifixes spot the ground as memorials to those who have perished there.

5. Trift Bridge

It is the only suspension bridge of the longest walkway in the Swiss Alps. Beside the long trek, the view here may also weaken some people's knees. It is suspended 330 feet from the valley floor and 560meters in length. This is only the second bridge ocated in the beautiful valley with its dazzling andscape. In 2004, a huge hydroelectric plant was uilt under Trift Glacier. The plant collected and controlled the runoff from the glacier. A bridge was needed to reach the power plant below the glacier and o this precariously positioned structure was built.
However it is not considered as dangerous as the lass bridge in china.

Kokoda and Black cat Trails

This dangerous tourist destination is a challenging 8km Papua New Guinea Adventure that runs etween Salamaua and Wau in the Morobe Province is a forgotten World War 2 trail that passes through come of the toughest and most hazardous terrains in he world. Australian Diggers have often been heard escribing the Black Cat Track as the hardest slog hey have ever done. In fact, the Black Cat Tracks are arder than the Kokoda Tracks.

The Elephant Kingdom in Chonburi

This tourist attraction is in Thailand. An elephant camp wner and a mahout were charged with recklessly causing end and injuries after an elephant terminated Chinese tour guide and injured two tourists. This appened in the Elephant Kingdom in Chonburi, Thailand Considered the world's most terrifyingThailand. Considered the world's most terrifying tourist attraction, the attraction was shut down after disturbing photos emerged of tourists balanced on a raft feeding meat - to crocodiles. They used flimsy canes to dangle lumps of beef over the jaws of the reptiles - which then leaped from the water to take their lunch.

Heaven's Gate

This holiday destination is located at the top of Tianmen Mountain, 24,500 feet above the city of Zhangjiajie in China's Hunan province. The 999 steps lead visitors to Tianmen Cave, which is the world's highest naturally formed arch. Visitors can get there using the cable car, or choose the harder way - the 999 steps. Land Rover alleges that the Range Rover Sport is the first SUV to reach Heaven's Gate.

Grand Canyon National Park

This dangerous place has between 15 to 20 fatalities and 300 search and rescue incidents reported per year. The most common causes of end are airplane crashes, falls, and dangerous environmental conditions such as overheating or drowning. Grand Canyon is in the northwest corner of Arizona, close to the borders of Utah and Nevada. The Colorado River, which flows through the canyon, drains water from seven states, but the feature we know as Grand Canyon is entirely in Arizona

Guinea Bissau || Small & lovely West Africa Country

Guinea Bissau || Small & lovely West Africa Country (Guinea Bissau 2019)

Guinea Bissau is a small Undiscovered West African country, formerly a Portuguese colony. We travel to Cacheu and also to Bijagos. Is a pacific country, with friendly people and nice weather, and don't understand why his small Africa country is so undiscovered.

We will post new videos as soon as we make a trip. We enjoy traveling with our family and friends. Our videos are about the travels we made, and we like to show the most beautiful footages seen to encourage people to visit those places. We aim to produce videos to help people to travel in a budget, linking below the places we have visited.

I'm sorry the lens is so dirty, but it's beginner stuff. I hope we can improve the quality a lot, so we put all the videos. The good ones, the less good ones and the like so :-)

Only 14% of the population speaks noncreolized Portuguese, established as both the official and national language. Portuguese exists in a creole continuum with Crioulo, a Portuguese creole spoken by half the population (44%) and an even larger number speak it as the second tongue, the remainder speaks a variety of native African languages. There are diverse religions in Guinea-Bissau with no one religion having a majority. The CIA World Factbook (2018) states there are about 40% Muslims, 22% Christians, 15% Animists and 18% unspecified or other. The country's per-capita gross domestic product is one of the lowest in the world.

Guinea-Bissau is a member of the United Nations, African Union, Economic Community of West African States, Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, Community of Portuguese Language Countries, La Francophonie and the South Atlantic Peace and Cooperation Zone, and was a member of the now-defunct Latin Union.

The town of Cacheu is situated in the territory of the Papel people. The name is of Bainuk origin: i.e. Caticheu, meaning 'the place where we rest'.
Cacheu was one of the earliest European colonial settlements in sub-Saharan Africa, due to its strategic location on the Cacheu river. Cacheu developed a European/Afro-European population from the late fifteenth century through an informal settlement of Cape Verdean and Portuguese traders, adventurers and outcasts (lancados). The authorities in mainland Portugal also sent to Cacheu degredados - people condemned to exile for a variety of offenses.

Notable buildings in Cacheu include the Portuguese-built 16th-century fort, dating from the period when Cacheu was a center for the slave trade.
