Tortona area is nice to live in Milan + tips
Why? It is just 10 minutes walk away from Navigli:
A renovated area where you can do aperitivo in the evening.
What is aperitivo?
It is a very important Italian tradition between 6/10pm.
Similar to Americas Happy Hour, you pay just 6/8 euros minimum for the drink and can eat free (unlimited snack food) so it is nice to do it with your friends, specially if you are on a tight budget.
Mudec museum is very near.
Base is a nice industrial building where lot of things are happening.
There is a gym nearby also and supermarket.
Very safe area when using common sense.
Very easy to travel in Italy, there is 3 airports near Milan.
You can also take trains/buses to travel inside Italy.
There are some curtlar differences, so in the morning dont expect to have bacon for breakfast.
Never order cappuccino after 11am.
