Pandi kovil was located in madurai, the main lord of this temple pandi muniswarar he was the savior(Kaaval theivam) of madurai. The lord pandi was actually an ancient ruler of madurai who related with the tamil epic Silapathikaram. People pray the lord for their wellness.

Rajaji Children's Park in Madurai is a popular spot for families with kids. Located between the Gandhi Museum, and the Tamukkam grounds, 2 kms from the Central Bus Stand, the park has play equipment for kids, some eateries and hotels and a collection of birds.

I Visited Tiruppuvanam and Jumped in the Vaigai RIver | Solo Travel India | Madurai Vlog (Ep. 60)
The Vaigai river that runs through the center of Madurai isn't all that clean. So, I decided to take a bus over to Tiruppuvanam with one goal - to go swimming!
After arriving in the village, I immediately walked to the bridge to find the location that I wanted to swim. Then I walked to find some tea. After that, I explored a different part of the river. Then I stopped at a large restaurant to eat some lunch. I had rice and a few other side dishes like Sambar.
After lunch, I went to swim under the bridge where I met many locals who wanted to know everything about me. After speaking with them, I jumped in the river and swam with some excited kids.
After about an hour, I dried off and went back to Madurai.
Tiruppuvanam is a cool village. I hope to visit again and do more exploring!

The Meenakshi Amman temple complex in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, is an awe-inspiring sight to behold, and one of the finest examples of a south Indian Hindu temple. Soaring to over 50 meters (150 feet) high, the 14 gateway towers, or gopurams, are stunningly decorated with thousands of full color carvings. We also manage to get a look inside the temple, where there is a real elephant!
