Tivon is a local council in the Haifa District of Israel. The Kirya was built on a chain of hills along the Jezreel Valley and Zevulun Valley, located 15 kilometers southeast of Haifa and 5 kilometers from Yokneam Illit. It was declared a local council in 1958
קִרְיַת טִבְעוֹן היא מועצה מקומית במחוז חיפה בישראל. הקריה נבנתה על שרשרת גבעות בגבול עמק יזרעאל ועמק זבולון, וממוקמת כ-15 קמ דרומית-מזרחית לחיפה ו-5 קמ מיקנעם עילית. היא הוכרזה כמועצה מקומית בשנת 1958.
ROAD 70-ISRAEL
Route 70 (in the southern part known as Wadi Milek) is a long national road in northern Israel, and is one of the two main arteries crossing the Carmel connecting the northern coastal plain to the Jezreel Valley (the other is Route 65, also known as the Wadi Ara road). Highway 70 continues northward through the Zevulun Valley at the foot of the Western Galilee Mountains, and serves as a long axis parallel to Israel's northern coast and Route 4, which is closer to the shore. The road actually serves as a highway that bypasses Haifa and the Krayot. The road is 76 kilometers long, and a 4-kilometer section between the junction of the valleys and the Yagur Junction, is shared by Route 75. The road begins at the Zichron Yaakov interchange in the south and ends at Shlomi in the north.

כביש 70 (בחלקו הדרומי מכונה דרך ואדי מילֶק) הוא כביש ארצי אורכי בצפון ישראל, והוא אחד משני עורקי התנועה העיקריים החוצים את הכרמל תוך שהם מחברים בין מישור החוף הצפוני לעמק יזרעאל (האחר הוא כביש 65 הידוע גם ככביש ואדי עארה). כביש 70 ממשיך צפונה דרך עמק זבולון למרגלות הרי הגליל המערבי, ומשמש כציר אורך מקביל לחוף הצפוני של ישראל ולכביש 4 הקרוב יותר אל החוף. הכביש משמש בפועל כציר מהיר העוקף את חיפה והקריות. אורכו של הכביש הוא 76 קילומטר, וקטע באורך של 4 קילומטר בין צומת העמקים לצומת יגור, משותף לו ולכביש 75. הכביש מתחיל במחלף זכרון יעקב בדרום ומסתיים בשלומי בצפון.
