Just aimless walking around eastern side of Tampere city. I start from the parking lot of Tampere-talo and continue towards Tammelantori. From there I walk along the side streets of Tammela and end my walk to the plaza at Tullintori.

The market of Tampere is located in Hämeenpuisto park. Hämeenpuisto is a street and public park is over 1-kilometre (0.62 mi) in length. Its length and central location has earned the park the name Central Park of Tampere. The park was designed by Carl Ludvig Engel in 1830.

Tampere Walk: Kaleva ja Tammela areas, September 2021, Finland.
Kaleva is an eastern part of the city and it is part of larger Sampo district. Tammela district was born since the 1870s as a working-class neighbourhood, today it is especially popular among the students of the nearby Tampere University. Tammela was almost completely destroyed in the 1918 Finnish Civil War Battle of Tampere and also severely damaged in the air raids of World War II. Some wooden houses from the early 1900s have remained in the so-called Puu-Tammela area in the eastern side of the district.
