Imamzadeh Hussein ibn Musa Kazem is one of the sons of Musa Kazem and one of the brothers of Ali ibn Musa al-Reza, and his tomb is now located in Tabas, inside the city. This shrine is very prosperous due to its location on the road of Yazd, Mashhad and the support of Astan Quds Razavi (AS) and is considered a glorious place of pilgrimage and tourism.

History of the tomb of Imamzadeh Hussein bin Musa Al-Kadhim (AS)

There is no evidence of this tomb and its present and day before the fifth century, and some documents indicate the original construction of the tomb of this nobleman in the fifth century AH. It is said that at that time a magnificent tomb with numerous places and rooms was built for the son of Musa ibn Ja'far (AS) so that the pilgrims could enjoy being there.

During the Mongol dynasty, especially during the reign of Ghazan al-Jaito and the period of Timur's successors, the holy shrine of the Imams was rebuilt in different parts of Iran and took on special features. At this time, under the supervision of Amir Hassan Khan Sheibani, buildings such as Ab Anbar were added to the tomb of Hussein ibn Musa al-Kadhim (AS) and courtyards and porches with clay and mud were built next to the tomb. The main dome was restored, and endowments were made to cover its expenses, for which endowments are still available.

This tomb was restored after Safavid and in the 13th century. An inscription that states about 494 AH, ie the end of the fifth century AH, still exists today. The year 1205 is also mentioned as the time of construction and repair of the building.

The tomb of Imamzadeh Hussein Ibn Musa Al-Kadhim (AS) was developed, but unfortunately in the devastating earthquake of Tabas in 1978, this building was completely destroyed.

After the devastating earthquake in Tabas, most of the Imamzadeh building was destroyed and the reconstruction of the tomb and its adjacent places required heavy costs. After that, Astan Quds Razavi proceeded to reconstruct that holy tomb and the surrounding porches and in a very excellent style, built a completely desirable and worthy building of this Imamzadeh.

Accordingly, Astan Quds Razavi in 1363 completed the reconstruction of the holy shrine of Hazrat Hussein bin Musa Al-Kadhim (AS) and the new building was handed over to the trustees of that time. Also in 1988, the tomb of Shahid Modarres with an area of 3,000 square meters with 1250 square meters under construction was built. After that, by a decree from the Supreme Leader, the tutelage of this province and the tomb of Martyr Modarres were handed over to Ayatollah Vaez Tabasi.

Tabas, as one of the tourism hubs in Iran, has shown almost every kind of attraction. In this area you can see salt lakes, old and green villages and even beautiful valleys. But a different sight that exists in less parts of Iran is a hot spring in the south of Tabas and at a distance of about 200 km from this city.

The spring of Dig-e-Rostam rises almost from the highest point of a dome-shaped hill, which is very surprising. Because water usually has to come out of the lower points. The volume of water output is not large and after a few meters it spreads over a large area. Sediments caused by this water have created various colors on this surface of the earth, which has added to the attractiveness of the spring.

To see this spring from the place of getting out of the car, you have to walk on a sloping path for about 10 minutes. It is difficult to find the source due to the lack of guidance signs. But the lush surroundings of the spring can be a good sign to find it.

In the 15th century, the native Safavids re-established a unified Iranian state and national identity, and converted the country to Shia Islam. Under the reign of Nader Shah in the 18th century, Iran presided over the most powerful military in the world, though by the 19th century, a series of conflicts with the Russian Empire led to significant territorial losses. The early 20th century saw the Persian Constitutional Revolution. Efforts to nationalize its fossil fuel supply from Western companies led to an Anglo-American coup in 1953, which resulted in greater autocratic rule under Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and growing Western political influence, as well as far-reaching socioeconomic reforms. After the Iranian Revolution, the current Islamic Republic was established in 1979 by Ruhollah Khomeini, who became the country's first supreme leader.

امامزاده حسین بن موسی کاظم از فرزندان موسی کاظم و از برادران علی بن موسی الرضا است و آرامگاه وی هم اکنون در طبس داخل شهر قرار دارد. این بنا در زلزله سال ۱۳۵۷ تخریب و بازسازی شد.
این امامزاده به دلیل قرار گرفتن در جاده یزد، مشهد و حمایت آستان قدس رضوی بسیار رونق دارد و زیارتی و سیاحتی پر رونق است.
این مکان امکانات رفاهی خوبی دارد
این اثر مذهبی در تاریخ 20 بهمن 1359 با شماره 337 در فهرست آثار ملی ایران به ثبت رسیده است.
طبس همچنین مرکز شهرستان طبس، شهری کویری در غرب استان خراسان جنوبی ایران است. این شهر قبلا جزو استان یزد بوده که در سال 1391 به استان خراسان جنوبی پیوسته است. طبس تا قبل از سال 1380 جزء استان خراسان بزرگ بوده است.

Iran Mesr Desert – Where Earth Meets Sky
(Mesr in Farsi is equal to the name of Egypt!)

Mesr is a village and desert area in Jandaq Rural District, in the Central District of Khur and Biabanak County, Isfahan Province, Iran. This desert represents an interesting scene of the integrated performance of geomorphic and geologic processes and climate changes.

Reaching Mesr is easy, although you need to change direction several times from major cities of Iran, around 250 kilometers drive onto the Naein-Tabas road from Isfahan west to east. After passing Farokhi and Nasrabad villages, there is a sign showing off-road direction: ” Toward Mesr.” All in all, it is 420 km from Isfahan.

Upon 43 kilometers drive from the sign across the sand hills, 3 green spots will appear from far, similar to three emeralds next to each other. Few moments later, while the absolute silence of desert is your only company, you will find yourself in the first emerald land, Amirabad.
The road is totally flat which is considered as one of the wonders of Iran’s central desert and surprises every Eco-tourist. The sand hills around the village are known as thrones since the strong wind has shaped the surface, forming strange and attractive figures.
