Scenic Drive: Oak Ridge To Summerfield NC On Highway 150!
In this video, we drive from Oak Ridge, North Carolina down NC 150 highway to Summerfield. The drive starts off from the NC 68 Hwy intersection, then travels past the Oak Ridge Military Academy, over the i73 bridge, and eventually into downtown. This drive takes just over 11 minutes.
We apologize for the glare as it was an extremely sunny day in Mid July, 2022. We film this with a Gopro 9.

Oak Ridge is a town in northwestern Guilford County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 6,185 at the 2010 census,[5] up from 3,988 in 2000. As of 2018, the population had risen to an estimated 6,977. Oak Ridge is 15 miles (24 km) northwest of the center of Greensboro, North Carolina's third-largest city, and it is a part of the Piedmont Triad urban area.
Until the late 1990s, the Oak Ridge area was mostly rural farmland with numerous tobacco farms. However, since its incorporation as a town in 1998, Oak Ridge has seen rapid growth in its population. Many of the area's farms have been sold to developers and turned into upper-class housing developments, and several shopping centers have been built along the NC 68 corridor, especially at its intersection with Oak Ridge Road (NC 150), near the military academy.
