Bicycling the Douglas State Trail, Nov 6, 2020 (Pine Island to Rochester MN)
Biking the Douglas State Trail starting in Pine Island down to Rochester and back. The round trip ride is 25 miles along an old railroad bed which means it is a gentle ride. This was the last of a string of 70 degree days we had at the beginning of November. The trail runs through farm land for most of the ride and enters the city of Rochester for the final couple of miles. In the summer time this trail lush and tree covered for much of the ride.
