How to Plan a Trip to TAWI-TAWI, Philippines • Budget Travel Guide PART 1 • Filipino w/ English Sub
Galing nga raw ang pangalan nito sa salitang jaui or jaui-jaui, which means “very far” or “napakalayo”. Kung pangarap mo ring maka-travel sa Tawi-tawi, ise-share namin sa inyo kung paano magplano ng trip dito.

Tawi-tawi - 20 Must Know Travel Facts | Ep16 | The Creative Life
Here's a quick rundown of everything you need to know about Tawi-tawi! From getting there, what to do, where to go, and what to eat, where is Bod Bongao or Simunul, what island and beach to visit - and the very big question of is it safe?
I've been to Tawi-tawi for 3 times already, all for the shoot of the show of Ms. Gina Lopez - GDiaries. Indeed, it has become one of my favorite destinations in the Philippines and its such an excitement just going there. Tawi-tawi has so much to offer - hike to Bod Bongao, meet the Badjaos, try the Puto Kuhita or the Sea Urchin dishes, go to Simunul, jump at the sinkholes and many more!

DRONE VLOG # 11 - Experience Sitangkai | Droning DJI Mavic Mini | Venice of the South
The municipality of Sitangkai located in the province of Tawi-tawi is the southernmost town in the country. It is also called the “Venice of the South” due to its large canals where boats navigate as the main mode of transportation by villagers. This “street” where children are shown playing in the water is actually one of the canals where seawater flows inland during high tide. Credits to Wikipedia.

TRAVEL VLOG # 44 - Sitangkai Culture | Igal-Igal | Pakiring | Pangalay | Traditional Muslim Dance
Pangalay (also known as Daling-Daling or Mengalai in Sabah) is the traditional fingernail dance of the Tausūg people of the Sulu Archipelago and eastern coast Bajau of Sabah. Neighbouring Samal and Bajau peoples in the Philippines call this type of dance, Umaral or Igal, and they sometimes use bamboo castanets as substitutes for long fingernails. While Pakiring dance emphasizes the movement of the hips (kiring-kiring), to mimic the movement of a butterfly.
