Madani - Sinnar, Backpacking in Sudan! || Cinematic Travel Vlog Sudan || Minim Budget

Hello, Sobat Lutev Channel!!

Highlights of Sudan

#sudan - Is a country located in northeastern #Africa. The name Sudan derives from the #Arabic expression bilād al-sūdān (“land of the #blacks”), by which #medieval Arab geographers referred to the settled African countries that began at the southern edge of the #Sahara.
For more than a century, Sudan—first as a colonial holding, then as an independent country—included its neighbour South Sudan, home to many sub-Saharan African #ethnic groups. Prior to the secession of the south in 2011, Sudan was the largest African country, with an area that represented more than 8 percent of the African continent and almost 2 percent of the #world’s total land area, Sudan’s population still exhibited a diverse profile. The Sudanese #people boast several major ethnic #groups and #hundreds of subgroups, and they speak numerous #languages and #dialects.
Since #ancient times the Sudan region has been an arena for interaction between the #cultural #traditions of Africa and those of the #Mediterranean world. #Islam and the Arabic language achieved ascendancy in many northern parts of the region, while older African languages and cultures predominated in the south.

Assalamu’alaikum Sobat Lutev Channel !!!

The beautiful culture before the War | Port Sudan

I traveled to Port Sudan, Kassala, and then back to Khartoum to experience some of the ancient beauty traditions and other activities.

In Port Sudan I attempted scuba diving, met the Beja Tribe, and went to a huge fish market.

In Kassala, I made some friends who took me to the dry beach, to meet the Rashaida tribe, and a picnic under the Mango trees. The Rashaida tribe showed me their traditional sword dancing and then invited me for lunch.

Back in Khartoum I saw a Sufi ceremony, went to the camel market, got henna and tried Dukhan.

The Holy Family-En-Monastery of Al -Muharraq

Sudan - Tuti Island

Tutu Island at the point where the Blue Nile and the White Nile merge is a small, quiet oasis that feels more like a village that is surrounded by Khartoum and Omdurman. We visit a brick factory and walk between the corn fields.

We visited Sudan on our overland trip from the Netherlands to South Africa and South America; see our playlist

Gondeshwar Temple, Sinnar, Nashik

Gondeshwar temple is a very beautiful temple built in the Hemadpanthi style of Architechture. During the Adilshahi rule in Maharastra. This style became very popular and came to be known as the Hemadpanthi style. The Gondeshwar temple is one of the few structures of this style still in good shape. It is a Shaiva Panchayatan, or a group of five temples within a large enclosure. The central shrine is dedicated to Lord Shiva and the remaining four around it are temples to Sri Parvati, Sri Ganapati, Surya Bhagwan and Lord Vishnu. The temple is truly unique in design, perfect in proportion and the stone carvings are exquisitely beautiful. The pillared hall carved with tortoise, the Kurma Avatar of Lord Vishnu, on the ground, is small, elegant and unique in this part of the country. The structure was constructed using the locally available black basalt stone and lime. The temple’s origin dates back to 12 – 13th century during Yadava dynasty. Some sources claim that Raj Govinda of Yadava dynasty built this great temple. It lies 30 km southeast of Nashik city on the Nashik – Pune Highway. Gondeshwar Temple is situated about 2 km from Sinnar Bus Station and it represents the best example of the Hemadpanti style of architecture.

This video Recorded at Date Jan 2009 .Lonar is a town and a municipal council in Buldhana district of the division of Buldhana of the region of Vidarbha in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is a taluka of the district of Buldhana and is located near MehkarDaitya Sudan Temple is a Vishnu temple dated to the Chalukya Dynasty which ruled Central and Southern India between the 6th and 12th centuries. It belongs to the Hemadpanthi class and is built in the form of an irregular star. It features carvings similar to those seen at Khajuraho temples. The deity of this temple is made of an ore with a high metal content that resembles stone. The area outside the sanctum is dark and under the light from a torch carvings can be viewed on the ceiling. The exterior walls are also covered with carved figures. The plinth of the temple is about 1.5 m in height, and the unfinished roof suggests an intended pyramidal form for the tower. The temple of Daityasudana at Lonar is the best example of the Hemadpanthi style. From the standing image of Surya in the principal niche on the back of the temple it is conjectured that the temple was originally dedicated to the Sun-god.However in the present form its vaishnav temple of god vishnu in its daityasudan avatar. There is a story that a demon i.e. daitya called as lonasur or lavanasur used to reside in this locality along with his sisters . He was killed by lord vishnu in his daityasudan avatar hence the name. The temple measures 105 ft. long by 84.5 ft. broad . Its a tree chamber temple, the inner most being garbh gruh i.e. sanctum sanctorum where the idol of lord vishnu standing atop lavanasur is there . The present day idol was made by bholse rulers of Nagpur after the original went missing . The second chamber is called antarl where individual pooja are performed, on the roof of this block one can see beautiful cravings of puranic stories viz. Killing of Lavanasur by Lord Krishna and appearance of Dhar of Lonar ; story of Kansa and Krishan, story of Narasimha and HiranKashyap and lastly raskrida. The outermost chamber is called as sabahmandap which is meant for group offerings and performance . This portion as well as the enterance gate does not match the style and construction elements of the temple overall . The brickwork might have been added later to the damaged or unfinished temple which might have been caused due to various invasion post 10th century India .The temple overall is star shaped . The main enterance is east facing .The principle niche at the back of the temple has image of surya (sun god ) which gives rise to the speculation that this might have been ( or intended to be ) temple of sungod . The other niche on the right of the temple i.e. on south has image of chamunda devi . The one on left of the temple i.e. north has narashima in it .All of these 3 niches are built like mini temples in themselves having elaborate pillars, base and decoration .There are nemorous ridges onto the temple with different decoration, images having iconic as well as artistic significance . Many of the images depict deities or incidents on Hindu purans.
