In this video I will show you an area called the Ackerdijkse Plassen. This is a protected area where birds can stay safely and have enough food from the land. The area has some special spots from where you can take a look at the birds, without bothering them.
The Netherlands is perfect for long walks and cycling tours, in this video you will get an impression why I say that.

Rotterdam Central Station 4K (Trains, Metro, Tram & Buses) | The Netherlands (English sub)
Rotterdam Centraal /Central Station is one of the busiest stations in the Netherlands. Construction of this was started in 2004 and opened in March 2014. This has been built by considering all public transportation modes including trains, metro, trams and buses. This place has used by around 170,000 people per day in 2018.
This has been built according to a modern architectural design. This place has around 3,000 solar panels on the rooftop which generate the power for all the lights, escalators and lifts in the building. Also this place has a very large space for bicycle parking underneath the building. There we can park around 5,000 bicycles at once.

Today we are going for a walk through the Rotterdam district of Schiebroek.
This is the place where I grew up and as a child I often played in the streets of the neighbourhood.
Schiebroek is a former municipality in the polder of the same name in the north of the municipality of Rotterdam.
Peat was extracted on a large scale in the 17th and 18th centuries. As a result, it increasingly became a puddle area. From 1773, Schiebroek was turned into a polder by constructing quays, canals and ditches.
The polder was drained by a number of windmills.

Walking around Rotterdam city centre | The Netherlands 4K (2021)
Walk in Rotterdam, in one of the most particular places in the world from an architectural point of view. In a single square, it is possible to admire the cubic houses of Piet Blom, the Blaaktoren (The pencil), the market hall and other architectural gems. A few minutes from the center it is also possible to take a walk along the sea admiring the Erasmusbrug (English: Erasmus Bridge). It crosses the Nieuwe Maas in the centre of Rotterdam, connecting the north and south parts of this city, second largest in the Netherlands.
The city of Rotterdam will be the host of the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 later this month.

This shows Herenstraat (street) in Amsterdam, the Netherlands from Keizersgracht to Herengracht on Sunday, July 3, 2016. We were here after an amazing Viking Rhine Getaway Cruise. After the cruise ended, we took a few days in Amsterdam to explore on our own. Tried to do it with Viking but they were sold out. Would have had a better time under Viking's umbrella I think.
