Best Things To Do in Cebu Philippines 2024 4K
Are you looking for the best things to do in Cebu? We just created a list of 26 must do activities for you to do while visiting Cebu Philippines! In this Cebu travel guide we show you around Malapascua, Cebu City, Oslob, Moalboal, Bantayan, Camotes and many other top tourist destinations in Cebu. Some of those Cebu attractions include Kawasan Falls, Sumilon Island, Mactan Island, SM Seaside Mall, Top of Cebu, Temple of Leah and much more! If you enjoy this Cebu travel video you can also watch our other travel vlogs from across Philippines. We show you what to do in Cebu.
It took 10 days to make this Cebu travel video. I would say you can explore most of Cebu in the southern part of the island around Oslob and Moalboal in 3 to 5 days. But if you want to see the islands in the north like Bantayan, Malapascua and Camotes you will need much more time or just pick or two of those islands. Mostly because taking ferries around Cebu can be time consuming. You can easily do these attractions on your own and don't need a guide but I would recommend a guide for first time visitors. Make sure you find a registered tour guide and company on the island. You can find the best Cebu tourist activities in Oslob, Moalboal, Cebu City and Bantayan Island. The best food in Cebu seems to be Lechon, Chicken Adobo and Sisig as it is the most popular with most locals.

The Basílica Menor del Santo Niño de Cebú is commonly known as the Santo Niño Basilica. It was founded in the 1565 and is the oldest Roman Catholic church in the country, it is built on the spot where the image of the Santo Niño de Cebú was found during the expedition of Miguel López de Legazpi. The icon, a statuette of the Child Jesus, is the same one presented by Ferdinand Magellan to the chief consort of Rajah Humabon upon the royal couple's christening on April 14, 1521. It was found by a soldier named Juan de Camuz forty years later, preserved in a wooden box, after Legazpi had razed a local village.

|| BASILICA MINORE DEL STO. NINO DE CEBU || BEST OF CEBU || CHOOSE PHILIPPINES ||
Basilica Minore del Sto. Nino!
Established by the Spaniards long time ago when they introduced Christianity in the Philippines. Everyday Devotees will light candles and say prayer of thanks and wishes. Faith can move mountains.
Videos uploaded here are my personal experience of travels & events. The main purpose is to inspire everyone to appreciate the beauty of life and enjoy the journey of living. I never earn a lot but I manage to travel both local & international destinations.
It's a different feeling to experience the different culture of other people in other places and able to witness how they are living day by day.
The best secret I can share why I am able to travel around is to live according to our mean. It's about proper budgeting.
Dream big and work for it, nothing is impossible to a willing heart that desires goodness not only for herself but for others too & showing deeper kindness to all living & non-living.
Sto Nino Church & Magellan's Cross - Oldest Catholic Church - Cebu City Philippines | Travel Vlog
The Basílica Menor del Santo Niño de Cebú (Minor Basilica of the Holy Child of Cebú), commonly known as Santo Niño Basilica, is a minor basilica in Cebu City in the Philippines that was founded in the 1565 by Fray Andrés de Urdaneta, O.S.A. and Fray Diego de Herrera, O.S.A.. The oldest Roman Catholic church in the country, it is built on the spot where the image of the Santo Niño de Cebú was found during the expedition of Miguel López de Legazpi. The icon, a statuette of the Child Jesus, is the same one presented by Ferdinand Magellan to the chief consort of Rajah Humabon upon the royal couple's christening on April 14, 1521.
Magellan's Cross (Spanish: Cruz de Magallanes, Tagalog: Krus ni Magallanes) is a Christian cross planted by Portuguese and Spanish explorers as ordered by Ferdinand Magellan upon arriving in Cebu in the Philippines 17 March 1521. This cross is housed in a chapel next to the Basilica Menor del Santo Niño on Magallanes Street, just in front of the city center of Cebu City. A sign below the cross states that the original cross is encased inside the wooden cross made of tingalo wood. This is to protect the original cross from people who chipped away parts of the cross for souvenir purposes in the belief that the cross possesses miraculous powers. Some people, however, believe that the original cross has been destroyed or disappeared after Magellan's death and the cross is a replica that was planted there by the Spaniards after they successfully christianized the Philippines.
