This staycation and travel vlog is about our visit at Casita Lago in San Pablo City, Laguna,

Unique and Beautiful Airbnb with Stunning Views!
Casita Lago has 5 unique, instagrammable and beautiful casitas. All of which are lakeside and offers stunning views of greenery, mountains, and the lake.

We stayed at their Casita 3 which is good up to maximum of 3 PAX. The Casita comes with a queen-size bed, mini refrigerator, coffee and tea area, and a spacious and instagrammable toilet & bath with an extra large bathtub. Our favorite spot is the deck - a perfect spot to chill and relax.

Other things to note
- They currently don't have a restaurant but they serve complimentary breakfast. Cooking is allowed in the lounge/common area. Alternatively, you can have your food delivered via Grabfood.
- Casita 3 is kid and senior-friendly

This is actually our second time in Casita Lago and Casita 3 did not disappoint. No wonder why Casita Lago is an Airbnb Superhost! And this place remains on top of our list of best stays nearby Manila!

Metro Manila is surrounded by many provinces dotted with scenic countryside, rolling mountains, and beaches; you can never run out of day trip destinations to choose from. 4 - Mount Daraitan and Tinipak River

6 - Mount Sawi in Nueva Ecija and Dingalan View Hill in Aurora
7 - Masungi Georeserve
8 - Minalungao National Park
9 - The Seven Lakes of San Pablo

1. Tagaytay City
This place should rank up in the all-time list of favorite quick day trips from Manila. A two to three-hour drive from the Metro will take you to the highlands of Tagaytay, where roadside beaneries and appetizing specialty restaurants provide a wonderful place to wine, dine and relax.

2. Taal Town / Mount Gulugud Baboy / Anilao Beach in Batangas
Batangas is a big province but it has municipalities that are only a three-hour drive away from Metro Manila. One place you shouldn’t miss out is Taal Town. This is where numerous centuries-old heritage houses and the architecturally impressive Taal Basilica are located.

3. Corregidor Island
Visiting the place where many members of our country’s greatest generation fought bravely and died heroically should be a must for every Filipino. Fortunately for those living and visiting Metro Manila, Corregidor is only a couple of hours away by Sun Cruise ferry from Manila Bay.

4. Mount Daraitan and Tinipak River in Tanay, Rizal
The municipality of Tanay in the province of Rizal is gifted with an abundance of nature where rising mountains can be hiked – thanks to its high elevated jump-off areas, where one can witness a sea of clouds during the early morning. One popular day trip destination here is Mount Daraitan.

Part of the Sierra Madre mountain range, it shares a border with Tanay, Rizal and General Nakar, Quezon, Mount Daraitan rises 739 meters above sea level and is good for a 3-4 hour hike to the top. It features a lush forested trail highlighted by stunning karst formations.

5. Artists Village and the Petroglyphs in Angono, Rizal
Learning about art and history for a day isn’t a bad idea. In fact, it makes up for a truly wonderful plan. Angono’s art culture is very much on display at its famed artist village where you can find the works of Angono natives and National Artists Carlos “Botong” Francisco and Lucio San Pedro. Other artists whose works are present in the village include Jose “Pitok” Blanco, Nemi Miranda, PerdigonVocalan and many more up and coming local artists.

6. Mount Sawi, Nueva Ecija+ Dingalan View Hill, Aurora
Not to be mistaken as a mountain exclusively for broken-hearted people, Mount Sawi offers a relaxed trail perfect for a day hike. Sawi, a word often used to describe one who had gone through a failed relationship, is the opposite of what this mountain offers to hikers.

7. Masungi Georeserve in Baras, Rizal
The Masungi Georeserve is the Philippines’ first-ever nature conservation project located in the Sierra Madre mountain range in the municipality of Baras, Rizal. Spread over some of the most spectacular limestone karst peak formations, visitors can walk over trail pathways made of durable materials to protect the karst formations from human movements.

8. Minalungao National Park in Nueva Ecija
Nature at its finest seems to be in full display at Minalungao National Park. Crystal clear river streams, jaw-dropping karst peaks, numerous cave systems to explore and a lush forest surrounding it. This is the reason why Minalungao has become a popular destination for day trip travelers coming from Metro Manila and nearby provinces. A relaxing dip in the river instantly cures a tired body.

9. The Seven Lakes of San Pablo in Laguna
The seven crater lakes of San Pablo City in Laguna namely Lake Bunot, Lake Calibato, Lake Palakpakin, Lake Muhikap, Lake Sampaloc and the twin lakes of Yambo and Pandin, can all be visited in a day.

Seven Lakes of San Pablo City. Ultimate DIY Travel Guide: how to get there, what to see, what to do

The city of San Pablo is the City of Seven Lakes. But have you ever wondered what they are, and where they are located.
The seven lakes are actually seven volcanic crater lakes scattered around the city of San Pablo.
Geologically, they are maars or low-profile volcanic craters located in the San Pablo Volcanic Field. These craters were formed by phreatomagnetic eruptions, when ground water came in contact with hot magma pushing up near Earth's surface.
The Seven Lakes are worth exploring, and here's the ultimate DIY guide on how to visit them.

Where Do We Go Now? Roadtrip to San Pablo

Have a wonderful weekend guys. today's video. gala mode na naman tayo sa San Pablo, and here we are the roadtrip

Picnic on a raft at Lake Pandin | San Pablo City, Laguna | Philippines | We.Are.Wanderful

A Viaje del Sol family adventure and tour

JULY 19, 2015—We were doing the rounds on the famous Seven Lakes of San Pablo City in Laguna, as part of our first Viaje del Sol family adventure and tour in the province of Laguna. We planned and timed our itinerary so we will have lunch at Lake Pandin. Visitors to Lake Pandin are treaated to a picnin on a bamboo raft. We ate our lunch while our raft is being pulled on a tow-line rope to bring us to the far end of the lake where we had a really pleasant time just enjoying the cool shade and refreshing lake water. The kids and I even decided to take a dip into the cool emerald water.

Lake Pandin is considered to be the most pristine among the seven lakes in San Pablo City. It is also the best developed for eco-tourism. It is really a good thing that the residents around the lake have organized themselves into a cooperative to preserve and protect the lake. This same cooperative is now prpoviding livelihood to its members through its effective management of the lakes eco-tourism.

This is a short slideshow video presentation of our photos at Lake Pandin. Enjoy watching.
