Очень приятно, когда прожив в родном городе достаточно давно, он не перестаёт удивлять тебя красивыми местами, снова и снова.Для меня подобного рода открытием послужила церковь Святого Николая.
А если более точно, то Iglesia de San Nicolás de Bari y San Pedro Mártir, церковь Святого Николая из Бари и Святого Петра Мученика.
Эта удивительной красоты церковь находится в старой части города совсем недалеко от укреплённых ворот Torres de Quart, по адресу:

К слову сказать, это одна из самых первых приходских церквей в Валенсии, построенная после изгнания арабов из Валенсии (королём Jaime I) в 1238 году. Купол потолка церкви разделён на правую и левую части.
Правую часть занимают фрески из жизни Святого Николая, от рождения и до вознесения, а левую соответственно фрески из жизни Святого Петра.
А на потолке купола перед алтарём изображены вознёсшиеся Святой Пётр и Святой Николай вместе.
В период с 1419 по 1455 годы, по инициативе семьи Borja была перестроена в типичном для того времени, готическом стиле.
Шли годы, а точнее сказать столетия, и в 1690 - 1693 годах церковь была украшена в стиле барокко, работами таких мастеров как Juan de Juanes, Fernando Yáñez de la Almedina, Jerónimo Jacinto Espinosa и José Vergara Gimeno.

Церковь Святого Николая признана лучшим примером сосуществования храма готической эпохи пятнадцатого века, с украшением в стиле барокко семнадцатого века и в 1981 году была объявлена Национальным художественным историческим памятником.
Внутри церкви работает экспозиция рассказывающая об истории церкви и о том, как проводилась полная реставрация этого исторического памятника.
От себя очень рекомендую не пожалеть времени на посещение этого изумительной красоты исторического и религиозного памятника, и образца совмещения двух эпох...готики и барокко.Ни одно фото не передаст той красоты и неповторимости оформления, которую вы увидите при посещении.
Эта церковь открыта для посещения туристами по отдельному расписанию, которое не мешает проведению церковных обрядов и богослужений.

To start our street food tour in Bari, we went to the local fish market to eat raw fish for breakfast which is something totally unseen.
To continue our street food tour in Bari, we had the most famous dish of the city, the focaccia barese or Bari pizza.
After that, we had a next-level sandwich and a fried burrata cheese.
Moving on with our street food tour in Bari, we finally managed to eat the iconic orecchiette pasta which is one of the symbols of the city.

El Parque Colón es uno de los parques o plazas históricas de la Ciudad Colonial de Santo Domingo, el cual sirvió como centro principal de fiesta en la sociedad de la época colonial. Actualmente el Parque Colón es utilizado como centro principal de actividades culturales y también forma parte del Patrimonio de la Humanidad de Santo Domingo.
Durante la época colonial del siglo XV, se llevaron a cabo diversas edificaciones en la isla La Española, las cuales fueron las primeras viviendas coloniales de todo el Continente Americano.
Dentro de estas construcciones se construyó el Parque Colón, el cual fue llamado por el nombre de Plaza Mayor de Santo Domingo, EN de 1506.
El nombre de Plaza Mayor Anteriormente fue llamada como Plaza de la Catedral, fue dado en honor al Comendador Mayor de la orden de Nicolás de Ovando.
En el centro de este parque se encuentra la estatua del Gran Almirante Cristóbal Colón que apunta con el dedo hacia al norte, y fue una creación del escultor francés E. Gilbert. El 27 de febrero de 1887, fue inaugurado oficialmente como Parque Colón.
Catedral de Santo Domingo, o Basílica de Santa María de la Encarnación,
Es la iglesia más antigua del Nuevo Mundo, construida entre 1510 y 1540
cuya primera piedra fundacional fue colocada en 1.510 por Diego Colón (hijo del almirante).
Sin embargo su construcción fue muy lenta, ya que su primer arquitecto, Alonso de Rodríguez, huyó con los planos; en 1.521 el obispo Alejandro Geraldini retomó el impulso de su construcción, y fue terminada en 1.540. Tiene 3.000 m2 y se edificó con piedra calcárea.
Calle El Conde, es una antigua calle de la Ciudad Colonial de Santo Domingo y Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCOPor un tiempo fue una de las principales calles de Republica Dominicana. Su nombre se debe al Conde de Peñalva

Then it went through several new owners until today, where it was declared a Dominican industrial heritage.
